We are coming up to our 1 year anniversary.

When did we officially go live @Rockster160 ?

Uhhhh.
Well. It was up for a while before I made my first post, and a few days after I made that post before I posted in the Facebook group and "announced" it. So I guess it depends which of those days counts as our birthday. ๐Ÿ˜…

Rent 350 per month.

(350 x 12) รท 52 = $80.77

๐Ÿ˜‚ Fair enough.

I was going to say it depends what you need it for, and how you calculate the week since each month has a different amount of days.
I generally like to overestimate expenses and round up so that in the end there is always a little extra. ๐Ÿ˜‰

350 per month / 4 weeks per month = 87.5 per week

A guy I went out with just reached out and asked me to lunch.

I'm more of a "take chances" type of person.
Have 0 expectations. In fact, expect him to bail. Have a backup: "If he bails, I'll go to the gym instead."
Then if he doesn't bail, then fine- you go have lunch. Lunches are generally pretty low expectations. It's easy to get out of a followup. He might ask, "Want to come back to my place?" and you can simply say you've got plans meeting up with some friends and that's that.

During the lunch, you can bring up the fact that he's been a bit of a flake and see if he's got a good reason for it. Whether or not he does, what do you lose? Just go enjoy yourself. Figure out what you want from him and what he wants from you.

good now you can enjoy it the last couple years of your life till your dead. hope it was worth the 40 or 50 years it took to finally get there

Iโ€™m 25. ๐Ÿ˜‰
Itโ€™s never too early or too late. It just takes effort.

People say theyโ€™d do anything, but when it comes down to it, people generally wonโ€™t do anything too far out of the norm or their comfort zone.

Itโ€™s been a long time coming for me. But over the past few years Iโ€™ve built my life into what I want.
Are there things missing? Sure. Is it perfect? Absolutely not.
But I can honestly say Iโ€™m happy with my life right now. Iโ€™ve got good relationships with people I care about. Iโ€™m stable and comfortable financially. Iโ€™m in a solid relationship. People rely on me.
Yes, I would be missed if I were to drop dead.

It wasnโ€™t always this way, and it could have easily turned out for the worse, but I didnโ€™t stop trying when life got hard. I hit rock bottom and from there I built myself up. It took a long time, but eventually I was content and now I can honestly say that yes, I am happy with my life. You can be too, but it takes time and effort.

If this is pointed at me- didn't mean to infer that they are the same/similar. ๐Ÿ˜… Merely that I have an interest in all Asian cultures, despite their variance. Different aspects of each.
