So there is a chance that I might actually be able to join the military!

Assuming it has to be recent 5 years if itโ€™s a character assessment.

Everyone is extremely grateful for this 'resurrection' as it were.

@_fourthings_ looks like you're correct! I did a very basic search for available domains and it didn't pop up. help.qa would be sweet, but like @soco said, we'd lose some SEO points.

As it is, our SEO set up is fairly decent. It should be getting picked up, we're mobile-optimized, and we comply to all or most of the industry standards. That said- the most important part of SEO is usage. Many things are taken in to account - how long a user spends on the site, how long a user spends on each page, how many different pages the user visits, repeat users (we've got that one nailed down pretty well. ๐Ÿ˜„), and, of course, how many users there are.

Because of how new we are, and how few users we have- we're not going to show up on any search engine list any time soon. That will change with time- SEO takes length of time the site as been up into account.

Help.com is the ideal domain because it's so easy and it's something people will tend to type in. Hopefully we can start to get picked up so that we can have an influx of traffic. ๐Ÿ˜„

Ok.

Unfortunately so. :(

He posted a political flame post, that ended with him insulting other users.

Itโ€™s a 1 day ban, so heโ€™ll be able to come back again by this time tomorrow! While his eccentricity can make him abrasive, flat out insulting others and trying to bring up topics like that is not okay.
Weโ€™re here to be helpful and welcoming and things like that just make it look like another place to attack people based on their political opinions.

This same syntax of using open/close brackets works on Facebook also.***

Which syntax do you mean? The square brackets around a url?

New Features.

Link previews and invites/tags have been updated to be more clean and less bug free!
(Do we want to edit this post with the features or just comment them?)

Anyway, the changes are outlined in this post:

Changing Link Previews:

Also- updated invites to actually show whether or not the User got invited or not.

Some users may opt to not receive invites from non-friends, so while you can still "tag" them, they won't actually get invited.
Additionally, if a user is already subscribed to a Post, or has already been invited to a post, they won't be invited again. (To prevent spam)

If it's desired by users, I can add an additional invite tag to "invite all friends", "invite all online friends", or other blanket invites like that. Usually invite systems avoid doing blanket invites so that the invites can be more personal.

I feel like if you interacted with somebody once a week for 5 years- even just sitting next to them at work- Iโ€™d still consider that a โ€œfriendโ€.

Maybe Iโ€™m so insular I donโ€™t even know whatโ€™s going on though. ๐Ÿ˜„

Yeah, thatโ€™s difficult and Iโ€™m sure itโ€™s not uncommon. How do you interact with somebody often for 5 years without being friends or family? Doesnโ€™t make sense. Iโ€™m sure you could speak to them and figure something out.

Itโ€™s either 6 or 10. Regardless it should be plenty. ๐Ÿ˜„
