Is being too nice a bad thing?

Well, I think its good to be nice but also not allow urself to get exploited. I consider a relationship where one just gives and another just takes unhealthy. I think its better when you first meet someone to do a small amount for them and see how much effort they are interested in to give back. Do it gradually and do a bit more at a time and if they stop showing interest then its good to back away. That way you can prevent yourself from being exploited.

I have come to the conclusion that people just do not take me seriously or respect me.

Believe in yourself and show you believe in what you say. People are generally less likely to take you seriously if you lack self belief. so that could be a possibility

So I decided to go into teaching special needs...

'I'm being asked to break rules... I was asked to take lead of a class yesterday which I agreed to, but I asked for help. Class of nine students but four of them have epilepsy. I asked for another epilepsy trained staff member to be with me.... And I was told - you have the phone.'

WHO has asked you to break the rules?
Is it a teacher not sticking to their professional boundaries?
Have you spoken to the Head about this?

I watched a documentary years ago on young people killing themselves. One individual showed themselves do it on webcam online with viewers watching from different parts of the globe but refused to contact any emergency team or anyone. They left him there to die. The parents were upset no one had done anything.

Yeah, one day I realised I didn't get any responses from him from anything I posted and noticed he hadn't posted anything for a while. It wasn't like him at all and I started questioning if he had passed on. I went onto his facebook and realised it was true.

No I didn't meet him in person. It was so many years ago help.com was changed and kept in contact on facebook. His username mightve mentioned Tord but I can't remember.
