Man.

Ohhhhh wow.
I'm so jealous!
Is this move for pleasure or because you simply need someplace to go?
I lived in Honolulu a few years back....there is no place like it that I know.
When that plane was landing, I looked out that window and saw something soooo incredibly beautiful.
The blueness of the ocean rolling into Waikiki.
Gorgeous. Seriously.
And temps sitting right on top of 80 degrees every single day.
Have you been there before, Anon?
If not...oh boy do you have something wonderful waiting for you.
If nothing else, just get on Nimitz Highway...keep your windows down...and drive past the Dole pineapple Plantation...BREATHE IT IN.
Aw now I'm homesick.
I hope that you are going to love it as much as I did...and more.
Good luck, Anon.
Lucky!!

Robbie....OUTSTANDING!
Leaving for work with a spring in my step.
How great is that?
Thanks, Robbie.
And it looks as though you were on the Epiphone, which is exactly the one that I own.

Robbie....when I read this I laughed out loud and couldn't stop....LOL!!!
Yeah you take your band in there and let it wail...then stop...walk out to where the tv is...and your room mate is sitting there not even paying attention to the band...
I'd love to hear your band kicking it!! I play a mean guitar and would love to jam.
Love to cover "Crazy on You" by Heart..oh yeah!!
Still laughing at the thought of all the noise....

LOVE it!!!

I know, Robbie! When I lived in an apartment, I lived under a family with 3 kids...You can only imagine what that is like...

I would turn my sounder on...and UP...and they were no longer an issue.
And I also had to deal with an older woman who stayed up all night with her TV sound turned WAYYYYY up....so I was thankful to have it then, too.

LOL I just turned BA's video on and plugged in my super subwoofer and this place just rocked...lol...Yes...it would be so cool to have it on a disc that could repeat for hours...lol.

HARMONICS....you nailed it!

BA...I've had so many and they all just got worn out and quit on me...lol.
Sharper Image has good ones.
But the one now is one from Homedics...AND I have one that I keep with me in the car...yep...sometimes I just pull the car over and park in a nice quiet spot and turn on my little battery powered one....white noise only...NEVER one of those with the tweety birds or train sound.
Before I discovered the sound machines, I had to have a fan running in my room.
Never quite understood why though....??
Guess just because it is so comforting.
Oh and I remember what movie this came from....Phantasm??
LOVE this sound!!
But not so much the little guys that come with it...

That was interesting.

I sleep with a sound machine next to my head...I keep it set on white noise...But I like this...I wish that it would go on and on for hours.
Maybe on CD??

Thank you.

How do you stop a panic attack.

I just very recently lost someone that I cared for very very much.
It has been just about too much to deal with.
But I had to try to remember something that my late sister taught me.
Whenever a panic attack or "night terror" starts to rear its ugly head, I have learned that it helps soooo much to try to focus on something.
I have to get up and move around the room...and look at things...and say out loud what that thing is..."I see one television...I see one pretty sweater hanging in the closet...I see two guitars against the wall..."
And continue saying it all aloud....
Doing this takes the swirling mind OFF of the trigger that got it started.
It also helps to have a "best buddy" who you can call and talk to...just to talk you down from the attack.
I have a pet bunny who is a great focal point.
I turn alllll attention on her and off of the attack.
A while back, I discovered also that if you are very lucky...having someone to hug you and tell you that everything will be ok...THAT is what used to work 100% for me.
Talk it out, anon..Talk to someone...
I understand this subject all too well
If nothing else...if you just need to type it out until you exhaust your fingers...come to my shoutbox....feel free.
I hope that you can find a way to manage what you are going thru.
And one last thought....even though it doesn't feel like it when it starts, believe that THIS TOO SHALL PASS...
Sending love and light your way.....Cara
