Geeze Robbie.
Being a caretaker is both a great feeling, but also a big burden at times.
I don't know your landlord, so it is hard to say.
If you are uncomfortable with the idea, just tell her/him so.
You've got a life to live too.
Maybe some recommendations for them about daycare.

I don't know what the reasons are for anyone else leaving this site...but for me it really began as a HORROR that passed thru me...And the thought of causing harm to anyone...especially children...really knocked me down hard.
I am referring to PepperJelly's post about the bugs.
I made a suggestion...one that I thought was good and safe...but according to what Pepper said, it caused a lot of distress for her and her family.
I could not deal with that very well AT ALL.
I felt that I would rather axe myself away from this site rather than to ever cause that again....
It hurt....way too much.

But Pepper has corresponded with her assurances that it just wasn't the case.
I thank the heavens that my words did not cause all of the misery that she went through.

And I hope that she gets all of those little problems taken care of completely.
HOW UNFAIR FOR PEPPER!!!!!!!!!!!

NO...I will not be leaving HelpQA anytime soon.
Because there really are some wonderful people on here.
I simply have a few issues that I have to work out myself.

After reading that I handed out some advice that caused further problems for another member, I too am on the road OUT,Legion.
Wishing you so much good luck.
But lets face it...this is NOT the old Help.com.
I don't know if people just are not catching on to the whole HELP idea or what the problem is....but it just has not caught the magic that the original HELP had 10 years ago.
Times change.
People change.
Me too....guess I've grown up and away.....

I mean we BOTH offered the same idea.
I have never heard of anyone having a bad reaction to Diatomaceous Earth before this.
Maybe using too much? Like OVERKILL??
I have my own allergies too, especially to exterminating chemicals and such...but had NO problem with it.
BUT...that is me, I guess.
Pepper, by any chance did you ask your exterminator about the D Earth?
I am NOT a professional by any means, and just because of this, my handing out helpful advice are done and over.
Pepper, I wish you all the luck in the world with this horror.
Also, I suppose that you will have a tremendous job of cleaning up the D EArth from your home. You didn't mention that.
I have an unopened can in my basement...I was given "just in case".
But I did spend time with my friend..in her home....after she applied it.
I never once saw it hanging in the air.
And she has never seen another insect of any kind in her home.
Geesh...

Pepper, I am so sorry that this happened to you!!
The best thing that I have seen someone use is https://www.diatomaceousearth.com
She, too, invited in a new room mate and wham! They were totally infested.
She used this stuff for a while and now they are totally gone.
Every other pest that finds its way in as well...it is good stuff.
She gave me some of it but I have never opened it.
She got it at WalMart.
Might be a good idea to go ahead and lay some down now before it gets too bad.
It is supposed to be the safest thing around...and it works.
I stayed with my friend for a couple of days,and never saw or felt anything in her home.
I hope you find some peace of mind as well.
And Nix is so right!
Why wait for the tax return and why didn't your new room mate exterminate their own home....
