I got a job.

I'm not sure I'm ready for this.
So far the only job I've found that I can emotionally handle are nanny jobs.
I have alot of experience with babies and toddlers.
I've always managed very well with kids.
Parents always end up taking advantage of me
Shorting me, not paying me, not cleaning up because they know I will

I stay usually allowing it for a long time because I'm too timid to say soemthing.

Last time I continued to work for months after my employer started shorting me a 100 dollars a week

Eventually I got the courage to quit.
Shortly after I was looking after my grandma.

I spent a year practically in crisis.
In and out of hospital.

Well in a group that's worldwide, for people with borderline personality disorder

Someone actually lived in the same county. 14 minutes away.

They needed a Nanny. I'm now that Nanny.

$3.50 an hour
13 and a half hours a day.
They are willing to pick me up.

A 1 year old and a 3 year old. Exactly what I'm used to.

I'm afraid to leave the animals and accept the responsibility of a job.

I've always been a really good Nanny. It's adults I cant handle.

I'm excited but afraid this will conflict with my treatment and my pets

Still I'm happy to he making progress. ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ

Congrats!!! ๐Ÿ˜
A job is a job. You definitely should be paid more, but itโ€™s good to build up that experience of getting out and having responsibilities.

I am well aware I am underpaid grossly ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ

And I have alot of experience. I educate, potty train, cook, do craftsand outdoors with the kids, clean.
I dont just sit on the couch and neglect children

But I live in the middle of No where. No public transportation.
No sidewalks and no friends

They are willing to pick me up and out here there arnt many opportunities.

And it's the best I can do.
I dont really know what to do.

I just hope I'm in a good enough place

Actually it's $47.25 but still that's almost fifty bucks a day for hanging out in a nice house chasing kids around. My wife chased 5 around for free and she cooked and cleaned too, but of course they were hers. It sounds like a good way to get your feet wet again and that's exactly what you need to do. Congratulations!

The pay is low, but I'm more surprised by the hours. Thirteen and a half hours a day is a lot! Kids are great though, just like animals.

I had a home day care 15 years ago. I loved the kids; some of the adults were a pain. Hopefully these people you're working for will be good. Keep the communication open, that'll be best.
