finally in need to ask for some real help about this situation im in.

first of all. a brief history about this place i work at.. its a very careless place, when i first started i was driven to achieve, done great and performed 110% expecting praise and appreciation only that I've recieved jack ****shit but more pressure because they felt that i wasnt working harder or possibly thought it would be funny to see if i can exceed my excellence. yea i work in one of those places.

so after i woke up to see the reality of things, i became one of them, instead of superman i went ahead and became Clark Kent. so 3 yrs go by.. no problems.. now all of a sudden

ok sigh.. .. another long story. I work in a specific department where im the sole expert in my field and due to my conditions and the hetic BS that became a problem for me that first year. (too many different people wanting different things) so the top managers decided to shift the direction and assign a low end manager that handles those people for me, cutting me some slack so i can do my job without being bothered. he was nothing more of a bouncer for me and lately my manager mr. butthead- whom we've had no problems with eachother are now in the dog pit.. now he wants to start telling me what to do, is questioning my procedures and job duties.

For my part im sorta real bothered by it and god i need some either way to win this or either pacify my emotions cuz im falling down the i dunno if my anger is getting me best of me its sorta similar to an amped up version of anxiety .. fear/anger/weak/fight~flight adrenaline. and i recognize this emotion.. the choked up loser comes out.

any suggestions what to do would be greatly appreciated! not that i can't sort it out on my own.. just need a different perspective.

In work situations, it comes down to either: telling your boss your concerns, or commiserating with your coworkers about what a butt he is.

If you can't make the source of stress go away, you have to find a healthy outlet to relieve it.

3 years is a long time in this job market. Personally, I think you should be looking for another job about now. And crush the mofo in the meantime 😂 but seriously though I don’t know anyone anymore who stays at a place for too long, you get a huge pay raise when you switch and not so great ones when you stay.

A job isn't for the benefit of the worker, so it's unlikely that the company will be interested in fixing your problem. Suck it up for a little while longer while you search for another, better job.

Unless you really love this one, in which case you should find a way to get the obnoxious meddler fired.

business sucks. i will never trust any business again. all they want is money and they do whatever it takes to get it. they will ****fuck you the employees. and they will ****fuck customers.

it's as simple as that.

it's not friends. it's not family. it's business.

it doesn't give a ****shit about you.

Can't you just find a job you like? If you have a job that is stressful but pays decent, you're still in for a long week. However, if you have a job you love, you never have to work a day in your life

I’m 99.99% sure that a “job you love” only exists in fiction. At least it does for me, anyways.

Nah, it's for everyone. Maybe, at the time, it's slightly out of reach, but it's there, likely in another area, but it exist. There's something for everyone

Write notes with questions that you want to ask your real boss along with important points. Call for a meeting and calmly talk out your concerns with your bigger boss or HR. It sounds like you are really important, even if you unfortunately haven’t been treated fairly at all. My guess is that you aren’t as replaceable as some customer manager person, so maybe they’d really be willing to make you happier than you think if you ask for something specific to help you do your job and avoid being hassled over irrelevant details. You could ask them to clarify your job description at least so this other guy can’t try and make you do extra.
