American Gods

Is it any good? I watched the first episode last night and i just felt confused. Is it worth watching the rest?

If you didn't like the first episode, you probably won't like the rest. Some of the episodes are breathtaking and interesting, some are depressing and boring. The premise is cool and mysterious, but so far they're all pretty slow.

It depends on your knowledge.

Some of the episodes have more things happening than others, but there is a lot of esoteric knowledge blended in. Also many religious fractions from both the pagan to the abrahamic. If you know some of this, then it comes alive a lot more.

You will also be told a story that you donโ€™t understand unless you watch the whole thing.

Watching the first episode I was a bit wtf, but it grew on me and by the end I thought it really good.

Belated response, I know, but reading the book first really helps in this case.. and it's a damned fine book.
