Are you a cat person or a dog person?

And why?

I like all animals, but I'm a cat person. Dogs require constant care, cats just need a check-in and some cuddles. Dogs are hierarchical so you can never know if they genuinely like you or just consider you their alpha, but cats are honest (unless there are snacks, but let's be reasonable).

I think im a cat person because they seem like less work rhan dogs. But i have never actually owned any animals.

Dog person. Cat's get eaten by other predators where I live, as do small dogs. I also find dogs to be more unabashedly affectionate & playful.

Cats are pretty much a waste of time and space if you ask me. I mean when you come home from a long day of doing whatever you do your cat is nowhere to be seen. A dog will come running and wag its tail and rub against you and make you feel like you are the greatest person in the world. Just the sad puppy dog eyes looking up at you are enough to make anyone fall in love. Meanwhile the cat is in the house shitting behind your bed and clawing your curtains...
