I feel like when it comes to some modern art, like film and music, that they're a lot like good mushrooms. You have to do some proper rooting around.

There's a new band that sounds like Led Zeppelin, Greta Van Fleet. I've been listening to them, they only have a couple of songs, not even an official album.

also i want to point out how in the old days.. radio jockeys had a good ear for taste in music.. and would play the and what was catchy. and all of us would pick up on that.

nowadays... i dunno where to begin with.. it seems like air time and videos are pushed n bought by the music industry. what gives? with this insane "disco-uation" of crap thats being sold as popular music.

Three of the four dudes in the band are brothers Al, and their mom and dad had an old timey vinyl collection that they listened to all the time and learned to play the songs. Robert Plant gave them his thumbs up, ha.

And yeah NaTcHoMaN I used to listen to WRVU the Vanderbily college station to get my fix of alternative rock but it's not even there anymore. College kids don't listen to music anymore apparently.

Yeah the 90's really had some neat alternative music. Before that the punk scene was really not very musically good and disco about killed my ears. Rock and roll was kind of dying but man there was still good music. I loved Weezer, POTUS, Alanis Morrisette, Pearl Jam, Green Day, just all this different music that was great. We just don't get a lot of that anymore.
