You're taking a lot of walks and pictures lately, aren't you? Didn't you used to live in Scotland? Now all of a sudden everything is English Lake District, google shows it as a National Park. You fishing there too? And what the heck is up with all the goats and sheep, y'all just use them as lawn mowers?

I've been in England 8 or 9 yrs now.
Yea I was in Scotland when I joined help. Beautiful place once you get to the highlands, coast and islands and everything is remote.
This part of England is a decent 2nd when you get into the lake district and fells.

It is national park.
The remote trans and some of the not stocked lakes are free fishing.
There's a lot you need to pay for tho.
Our only indigenous trout is the brown, you get them in the tarns and inland but they're not huge.
I put my swimming goggles on and let myself flow down river a bit looking for them.
I only saw 1 close up but the current was strong so I had to move in the water more than I'd have liked so maybe scared some away.

Aye yea it's the mobile lawnmowing service, saves bother doing it yourself.
Don't you guys do that??

Yep most of the time.

This day it was around 18*c but overcast so felt pretty cool.
The sea is always cold (being the north sea) and deep inland water doesn't heat up much.
Took me 10 mins of gradually inching into the water as it was so cold and I'm a wimp
