i really dislike

the ad monitor. dipping their nose in my personal activities thinking i want to buy something based on my browsing habits

more like.. buy something it appears you might be interested in .. so .. if i looked at dog ****shit when i was walking around the block the other day.. does that mean i want to buy ****shit?

you can go to your google account and disable everything. disable "related ads" etc. it's not a solution but helps a lot. also when you enter a website, you've got the option to only allow the necessary cookies and then delete them, or browse anonymously.

Ha ha. Agreed. With Google, Facebook, etc. it is equivalent to if you went into a store and some creepy salesperson was sneaking around watching you from around the corner, taking notes on everything you glance at. Then he shows up at your front door that night and tries to sell you bunch of stuff.

I use Ghostery extension. Helps to prevent a lot of it.
