Always happens that way, doesn't it?

When my son started his soccer season, we were between houses. I had his uniform sent to our soon to be new house and asked the neighborhood manager to look out for a package. Since our house was new built and not occupied, the address was invalid. They took it to some address on the other side of town thinking I had gotten my address wrong....those people at that house "never saw" the package...

So I wore my uniform to cadets today... It felt good to get back into a uniform. It was something I really missed.

At the same time though it SUCKED!!!! The boots are new to me, and need to be broken in. I was standing for three hours in boots that were snug in places, and loose in others, rubbing and chafing...

Thank God for heavy socks.

Probably a bit awkward in the shower the first 8, 9 times but keep it up and it wont take long at all.
