How would you go about getting your heart throughly checked?

That pinch thing, (I'm not a doctor) I think it's something normal, most of the times it's mascular contraction. Heart only causes pain on the left of your chest (under the arm) and back pain.

Best place to donate clothing?

I'd suggest homeless shelters and public nursing homes. I don't know how it goes where you live, but in my country public nursing homes need all the help they can get. I don't use the freecycle system anymore because they don't donate, they just resell the clothes and stopped giving to churches because the last time the priest told me "I'll only accept jackets, we don't need anything else", so I assume too many people giving to churches.

Why does the app for my robot vacuum cleaner need access to my photos and contacts?

Since you got all the funny answers, I'll be serious for a change.
This has been bothering me with most of my apps. I don't have anything to hide, I only have photos of my family. I just can't understand why does the flashlight app need my location! I've seen a few videos that say you can deny access, but I can't download anything if I don't allow access. I've recently read somewhere that everything you type in your messages, posts, emails, even if you don't send them, the information is being kept. I also don't like the way google works but you can't download anything without a google account. I don't know, maybe I'm being paranoid here, but as you said, why does the app for your vacuum cleaner need your contacts?

What do I do to survive the three weeks until my gastro appointment (optional: what's wrong with me)

Hi Caroline! I've often wished there was a dr House clinic or something! And honestly it pisses me off when they say it's psychological without having done all the necessary tests (happened to me recently.), for two reasons. First, they can't be sure and second, you can't relax and it will bother you until you've done all the tests and made sure it's not physical. I too would suggest you to visit a hospital. You've got nothing to lose. Oh, and despite your mothers good intentions, I assume she's not a doctor, nor does she feel what you feel. A neurologist might be exactly what you need, he is the one that can tell whether it really is physical or not.

Are you reluctant to conduct the scan due to health concerns? Do you have to pay for it?

Perhaps he doesn't possess the speciality / knowledge to detect the anomaly's source, but wouldn't the imaging be beneficial for others who might examine it?

I'm concerned about the radiation. If you consider that we don't have the most advanced technology, it's better to have as less scans as possible. I'll have to pay for it, but it's the least of my concerns. The doctor at the hospital said that I don't need to do further examine as long as I can breathe. The cyst was small. If I did a CT now, I'd probably need to do a new one in a few months or a year.
I'm just sick of being sick and visiting doctors! Eventually I'll have to do the CT but I'm trying to not do it until it's absolutely necessary.
Thank you very much for talking to me. You've helped me see things more clear.

Ok.

I just found the courage to call the other doctor. I told him that I asked a second opinion. He said that in hospitals they don't take responsibilities and that if I don't want to do a CT, I should at least take antibiotics. Thing is, I don't trust him. He's gone from "it could be psychological" to "you might need a surgery". And I don't want to visit another doctor or do CTs for no reason. I think I'll take the antibiotics and see what happens.

So...All in all my new boss is cool except...

I'm not sure this will help you in any way but here goes nothing.
In my previous job I was a manager in a small company. 30 employees, most of them young people with no previous experience. I was telling my boss I needed help in the office. One day he hired this guy to assist me, who previously worked as a manager in another company. His company closed and he had to start over. He was older than me. I thought it was a good idea, I wouldn't have to teach him and he could be more helpful than someone inexperienced. I was wrong. He'd learnt to do things differently, and he acted like he was still a manager. He even proceeded to correct other employees. I didn't like him. I always treated the other employees as if we were equal, but they all listened to me and never questioned anything. He had this attitude as if he wouldn't acknowledge me as his supervisor. I felt threatened. What if our boss was preparing him for a second manager? What would happen if we had to work together 12 hours/day? If I had to work with another person, it would have to be someone I get along with, someone I knew would do things properly even if I wasn't there, someone I could trust that he'd listen to me. And he wasn't that guy. When I saw him doing things differently, I'd get annoyed (but it never bothered me when other employees did something wrong). He'd say "we did things this way in my work". Well, I don't care what you did there! There was a reason your company closed! I needed to see in his eyes that he trusted me and listened to me, but it just never happened. He didn't stay for too long. Ever since I was sceptical when we had to hire someone. I never again wanted to hear "he knows the job". Preferred to hire someone inexperienced and teach him.

I was told that

Some say that hell is not an actual place, but it's the absence of God, the absence of love. Others say that when God comes back, His love will warm up the good ones and burn the others. So, you could say that evil is the opposite of love. If it was all love and no evil, we wouldn't be humans. You need to choose to love instead of hate, if you didn't know what white is, how could you tell what is black? How could you define love without knowing what it's opposite is? Every meaning in this life has two opposites. Cold and hot, white and black. Without the first you can't know the second.
