What do I do to survive the three weeks until my gastro appointment (optional: what's wrong with me)

Thanks so much, I'll do that. Iron supplements can irritate ulcers and stomach acid so I'm not looking forward to its effect on acid reflux, but maybe I can pick up some Slow-Fe this afternoon. Definitely intend on ordering an esophagram (despite reports of its disgusting taste๐Ÿ˜ท) so I can get that done if needed after the ENT visit.

Can't wait for 2018 to not be painful!

I don't know much about the barium swallow, but I believe, if you haven't done it already, you should also search about foods that turn alkaline in the stomach. You'd be surprised. For example lemon turns alkaline, while milk turns slightly acidic.

So, you're slightly anemic, which sounds logical since you've got dysphagia. Nothing to worry about. Ferritin levels take some time to change.
I'd suggest you do all the tests YOU feel necessary, so you'll be absolutely sure about the results and have absolutely no doubt about your health.
Keep us updated.

I just discovered my wisdom teeth have come in.

I had mine removed 2yrs ago. When I was younger I used to wear braces and hadn't removed my wisdom teeth. Big mistake. When they started coming in, there was not enough space and they pushed my front teeth and I had to wear invisalign. I guess depends on your mouth structure. A visit to the doctor could help you decide what to do with them.

Anyone here have experience with non-verbal autism?

I suppose "normality" becomes a subjective view at a certain point, so, I will just say this;

There is a difference between "can't" and "won't." Thus, this should be the new baseline of where to set your standard of expectation.

"Can't," means you're incapable (for any number of legitamite reasons).

"Won't" is an expression of laziness or defiance of standard expectations - I don't care who you are or what your handicap may be.

It's not realistic that your son wordlessly leads you around at his desire and convienience - that's a personal privilege you grant him but must evaporate in an adult, real-world setting.

Who are you and what did you do to Al?
I think we all understand that there's difference between "NT won't do that" and "ND won't do that".

Solipsism (/หˆsษ’lษชpsษชzษ™m/ from Latin solus, meaning 'alone', and ipse, meaning 'self') is the philosophical idea that only one's own mind is sure to exist.

You should cover last Thursdayism next!

Hahah. And people say I am weird. My favorite phrase is "I'm an alien who studied humans an got it almost right, but not exactly"

Instead of going backwards, I'd go forward. Find the cure for cancer, or the "cure" for aging, then go backwards and give it to young-me along with the blueprints for the time machine. Then I'd return to my time and make the pattent for the cure.

i already have the cure for cancer, its called organic food (vegetables), and never eat something with a face.

As much as I'd lpve it to be, Veganism is the answer to many problems, but not for cancer. It could prevent or postpone some things, but it's not a cure. Anyhow, you could find another pattent. That's not the problem.
