Oh man this is nostalgic!!

Speaking of members that are no longer with us, Daft Puck/Pink Freud left us nearly 2 years ago. Although she managed to move to live on her own, she died during a visit to her parents and had another grand mal seizure.

I haven’t gotten any cravings to smoke (Day 10 Nicotine free!) but I’ve been told I’m crankier, I have a gross cough that won’t go away, and I’m tired all the time.

Hubby needs to quit smoking. Really.

Kissing a smoker is like licking a dirty ashtray!

Indeed, it is a mental thing. Mind over matter.

Somehow that sounds like a mixture of the movies The Matrix and Inception.

To be honest I can't wrap my head around an altered state of thinking like that. Present day reality is frightening enough as it is.

Intrusive thoughts..

Explain why you need the double dose of contraceptive hormone pills, I assume are mostly Estrogen? Yes that could very well be contributing to your adverse morbid thoughts.

I would continue to go. Habits are very hard to break and AA will continue to benefit you. Talk it out, your struggles that is. AA is about the support it gives. You need them to rally behind you.

As for me, Sherlock, you never have to provide a disclaimer as to your thoughts about the authorities.
The hypersensitive feelings of social justice snowflakes always abound - you can explain it like you would to a child but it won't make a damm. I'm generally unapologetic anymore.

i need to learn how to do this too.

At day 30 celebrate by rewarding yourself in a small way. Try to find something you really like preferably non-food related. A new dress or fancy vase of flowers for instance.

I'm thinking of applying for a new job.

During the weeks of the training the employer is footing the bill for the period of layover. Joe would probably have to pay for the other 2 days, Saturday & Sunday. Difficult to do plus still make mortgage/rent payment on her current living quarters on less money.

And then after the 4 months, still no guarantee she would be offered the job. Depends solely on employers decisions, number of positions available, and number that successfully complete the training.
