New Features.

Where do you find the actual donation page? I just followed the link on the "resurrection" post. But for future ref., a donation page would need to be front and center.

Though I imagine that we will have enough to pay for the domain for the 9 years in just a few days, based on people already saying they've donated.

However, I don't see a problem with Rockstar (intentional mis spelling of his name ;) ) and Soco making a few bucks to keep the site up and running and for their constant upgrading, updading, monitoring, etc

He wanted it away from the Home Page so people did not think it was required to get a response. I agree with that. The link can be found on the FAQ page.

New Features.

This is for Rockster160 and others including mods to inform the rest of us including those new, the differences and features that are now present that we didn't have back when.
I don't want this to be a post to complain about something not working the way it should but that will probably happen regardless.

First one that I can think of is the donation page (and where to find it).

did i just step into a time portal...

There are a few differences, such as the markdown and emojis. And the posting of pics too. That alone I think may have been responsible for bringing OH (old help) down because of the huge storage space keeping all of them required.

Hi, I was Nix on helptogo.

And if you can get Nixxx, you can also use that as your name at most strip clubs.

Both you and Rockster, of course. Lol.

Odd actually, I've always onserved that Dani gives hugs to anyone except me. :P On a count of she think I'm someone who lives in America...somehow.

we ALL live in America. Didn't you hear? Every country Trump visited including China he bought.

When a close friend suddenly returns phone calls a week after you left a message and says hes been busy what does that really mean?

It means exactly that. Don't try to read any more into it than that.
If and when you can start to read minds and motives, you're going to be busy too touring the country.

Second, Rockstar160 did this rebuild entirely on his own. He was not asked. He was not paid. He just saw the same need as the original founders did for this site. He spent his own money and time learning how to put it back together. Asking for a small donation is just a way of thanking him for His altruism and seeing the need for this still, probably more so in this day and age. I don't think that need will ever end even long after all of our lives come to completion.
It also should be made clear, none of this money is going into Rockster's pocket. It is solely for the purpose to keep this going for as long as humanly possible.

I want to hug you. Can I please hug you? Virtually of course, and consent is absolutely voluntary!

Me or Rockster? I think we all want to hug him. Even @danihatesyou She doesn't give hugs to just anyone. LOL

@_fourthings_ My motives for wanting to extend the rights to the domain name are twofold. First, we all recall when things started to fall apart just before CBS sold it. I wanted to prevent that from happening again. There were several hundreds of people from its inception that made the old site as good as it was. If everyone was paid, it would have amounted to a payroll in the millions. To make this truly altruistic we all agree to volunteer both of our time and our willingness to help complete strangers all over the world. That, in my mind, is huge.
