Do you think stay at home moms are lazy?

Ironically, the lazy ones are the ones who complain any time they have to do something outside of the norm. (Like taking your kids to the Dentist, a park, a school play, etc) While the busy ones are the first ones to volunteer to prepare food for an event. It really depends on how you handle your time and where your priorities are.

If you see being a stay at home parent (un-gendering the post- sorry) as a way to get out of work, then you'll probably be a lazy parent. If you see it as a change in job, and an opportunity to teach your kids and raise them rather than them being raised by somebody else- then you'll probably do a pretty good job!

Agreed with Pepper. I know stay at home moms with 4 kids that are extremely lazy. See their kids as automatic chore-doers that follow their every command.

Then others with only 1 child who are very busy, and take care of everybody.

It depends on you. Does having a computer job make you lazy? No. It has nothing to do with your job. (Taking care of kids at home counts as a job) it all depends on you.

Human race is an artificial race. We were created by "aliens" who became technologically advanced enough that their "machines" became biological. Eventually their latest creation was able to self-sustain and evolve. In order to test this theory, it was dropped on a planet that appeared stable enough with a cold/warm enough climate as well as sufficient resources to see how it would do.

Give it a couple more hundred years and we'll do the same thing. ๐Ÿ˜„

Mera

I missed the majority of the Mera incident. But itโ€™s definitely somewhat of a sensitive subject around these parts. Even people who werenโ€™t directly affected generally know the basic disdain and story.

I never heard the full story- honestly Iโ€™ve learned more from this post than I knew before. Always wondered why/how pretending to be multiple different people could cause such a problem. But I guess if they used that to gain intimate knowledge of some and then using that knowledge against them in some ways. Still strange though. Glad I missed out on that part of the place and hopefully we can prevent it happening again.

@Rockster160. In all seriousness, is there anything we can do to help shorten that list? We want you to be able to enjoy real life.

๐Ÿ˜… I could put the list online, and anybody with dev experience could try chip away at it, but honestly doing the code reviews and such would probably take just as much time.

A lot of it isnโ€™t too bad. Some small bug fixes and stuff. And I really donโ€™t mind doing it- the only part I donโ€™t like is that they are bugs that people might run into until I fix it!

Usually companies like these "cap" rates. So you'll be able to use X amount of data at full speed, but after you pass that limit (Which is usually pretty high, but if you're streaming hi-res video constantly you can probably pass it) then they usually cut your speeds by some amount. You still technically get unlimited data. Itโ€™s just slower than the initial speeds you were first told youโ€™d have. Probably says they get to do that in some fine print somewhere. All the companies do it though. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

^^ Aware. Shows up a couple other places that it's not welcome either. It's on the list to fix. ๐Ÿ˜„ (The list is kinda big... ๐Ÿ˜…)

The filters are generated based on a list of common searches for adult sites.
Definitely requires tweaking. Nobody is claiming that it perfect. ๐Ÿ˜…

What do you honestly think would happen if the help community actually met in person?

Lol... same here. But in a responsible way. And since I do it so rarely, 1 1/2 glasses of wine will have me snockered.

Despite how rarely I drink, I'm quite the heavy weight. I outdrink pretty much everyone. (Outside of my brother- but he's borderline alcoholic, lives on the stuff. ๐Ÿ™Must be in the blood. ๐Ÿ˜‰) I wish I could get tipsy more easily. That's where the fun begins!
(I don't condone drinking irresponsibly. Know your limit and stick with it.)
