Help me...find some new websites with interesting content to hang out on.

I'm bored with my usual haunts, and am looking for things that are unusual and quirky; bonus points if there's a discussion board or busy comment section, too. Pretty much "family friendly" only, please.

I found "Atlas Obscura" and am enjoying it. I'd like to find more oddball type sites with short articles about lots of different subjects.

It may be cliche, but Reddit is a great resource. If you find the right groups to follow- you can get some really incredible content there.
Unfortunately there is a lot of rubbish you also have to sort through. ๐Ÿ˜…

Yeah...I haven't been able to get into Reddit much. I have a very low tolerance for BS and trolling.

Right- like I said, there's quite a bit you have to dig through before you get anywhere. But once you find good ones, you're pretty good. ๐Ÿ‘

You can always try Friendster. And you can come here for help if you're having trouble validating your account...

If you are into board games, there is boardgamearea.com.

It's for playing games, it's free, and no ads except to become a premium member.

I'll check that out, thanks. :)

Yeah; I do some of those...but just want something new. New ideas, new horizons, new vistas...otherwise, it's just more and more of the same fare, but often older or weirder.

I love reddit. There are several threads that are โ€œserious post onlyโ€ and the mods for them are pretty good
