So because you don't yet have the funds to book a cruise . . . . its someone else's fault?

Well hopefully someday you will be able to take the dream cruise of your life.
You will probably be old.
And you most likely will discharge methane gas at inappropriate times.

They sure did, didn't they?

Hahaha! It's ironic - I was reciently kicked out of a house over a misunderstanding over the same subject - it must be contagious by nature.

It's clear that the Millenials have appalling traits as a generation goes, however, I really blame the parents for having raised them the way they did. In this case that would be the X - Generation.

I can remember awakening to the brokenness of the X-Generation in the early 80's during my 5th grade year. Sitting in class, I felt surrounded by a large Princess committee and attention seeking beta boys.
Nothing - and I mean nothing, led me to believe any differently as the years passed. Things only got worse and it's not (nor will it ever) slow down.

My opinion..... Scrap the cruise and go visit the interior of Alaska. What you see from the deck of a ship is less than 5% of the entire beauty that Alaska holds in store. Plus, if you like to fish, hike and camp, it only gets better.
Start in June then get the hell out before July closes.
Hope this helps.

As a millennial I really have no opinion on cruise ships, and I would just question whether "millennials think cruise ships are old farts" is a thing. I know of two who enjoy cruises. I would never go on a cruise because I would probably get debilitatingly sea sick.

I'd love to go on a cruise, but my family likes other types of vacations better. An example would be that when we are near the ocean, IF my husb gets in the water, he only goes in shin deep. He would hate a cruise...lol.

I've heard that they are cool. I've heard that it is the ultimate vacation venue for relaxing and pampering yourself. I have a friend who goes on cruises every now and then.

And I guess he's a boomer. I'm an X. I guess our kids are post millennials, and I think they are great people. (NOT just bc I'm their mom)

The poster is not a boomer.
Born 1973.
If I was a millenial I would still say millenials are annoying as heck. Not all. But most.
Boomers are next in line

I'm not sure what category I fall into, but i wouldn't like to go on a cruise.
It's not my idea of fun at all.
Being stuck on a ship with thousands of other people, only being able to have solitude by being in your room, not my idea of fun.

I just googled it, I am a millennial, so I guess you're right.
