Wish i had answers and tips, Jetmoo. Different things work with different people.. i, myself, need to run to a place of solitude be it a beach or deep dark woods..

There are many beautiful contemporary Christian songs that give strenght, hope and faith, but not sure if you would fancy those.

Try googling 'quotes to give you strength', and you will find loads of others. Hope they will be helpful to you xx

I recently put together a self care box of things that cheer me up when I'm down.

In it are things like -

Photo's of loved ones.
Facemask
Nail Varnish
Candle
A note book filled with good memories
An book about dealing with anxiety
A list of things to do, like exercise, swimming, crochet, take a bath etc.
£20 to spend on whatever I want.

I always dive in there when I'm having a crisis.

I keep an art journal of my imaginary life.

When real life is bad, I start thinking about where I'd like to be, and what I wish I was doing. I can write short stories about how I spent my day, glue in pictures of things I'd like to see, clothes I'd like to wear, food I want to try....

It helps me see things from a different point of view and that helps a lot.

To reduce anxiety is a techique singers use.
Breath deeply from the diaphram. Stomach..for 5 seconds.
Slowly exhale for 20 to 30 seconds.
Repeat 5 times without stopping.

I feel better than i did before. Dont think i will have a breakdown now. I think ill be safe. Haha bloody hell life man. At least my dr thinks i have capacity. That means i am safe.

Not sure if i should share mental health with him or should i stick with physical health for a while first.

Oh my goodness

I got this journal - “One Line a Day for 5 years”. I write one thing I love about myself and one thing I love about my life. It’s nice because it’s just one line and I keep it by my bedside so I jot it down before I go to sleep. It’s helped me tremendously.

It makes me focus and find something I love, even if it’s as simple as “I love the smell of fresh lavender.”
