I have about a week ago.

My mum sent me a link to buy something for her, I was mad at her and stupidly bought it without checking the reviews of the site.

I dont think it will arrive, but I paid with paypal so I will hopefully get my money back.

I hope you do too.

I’ve only ever ordered from Etsy, Amazon, Chewy, Sam’s Club, and ModCloth. So those are all pretty legit. I’m too paranoid to order from anywhere else!

@Yorick What correspondence have you had with this company, if any? Believe it or not there are some unscrupulous buyers too. When an online purchase arrives they contact their CC bank and deny the charge. When the bank contacts the company they go ahead and eat the charge but your account is flagged as fraudulent.

Would you feel comfortable telling us the name of the company - or maybe even provide a link to the site you visited?

Yeah. I dropped in and looked around.

There's no real way to contact these "people" except through e-mail? - that's the dead give-a-way.
Their "Contact Us" and "Help" tabs are a joke - they don't even recognize smoke signals or night flares.

Sorry this happened to you, bud. It really fkkn suxs.
This makes visiting a genuine clothing store, worth while.

This happened to me once, years ago. The website turned out to be legit, but had run out of what I ordered and chose to keep my money. I had to dispute it with them and my bank. Since then, If Im not sure about a site's reputation I always google it but then add the word "reviews" at the end. This will quickly tell you if anyone else has had a bad experience or if it's been reported or listed as a scam site. There are tons of watchdog sites you can report them to. The reviews of other people's experiences read like a horror story but at least they can save you from reliving that horror yourself :)

- Yes, do let us know how that turns out. I never had the pleasure of being duped in the commercial sense.

On the other side of things, I have ordered from a site, received my items perfectly, but then looked at the reviews which was terrible. I had great service, but it seemed like no one else did. companies can turn things around, either way!

Buyer beware. Don't remember the Latin quote.
When I have come across online items or items that require ordering online (i.e. lularoe fashions and products containing CBD oil) you should research the company thoroughly. Make sure it is not a multi-level marketing entity. You may like the quality of the sample you see or sample you try on, but that probably will not be the same you receive. The reason being as more levels or "downlinks" are added they all get a cut or percentage of your purchase. Instead of raising the price they make said product easier to produce. Drug dealers learned that trick long, long ago. A original $50 dress from Lularoe should have gone up in price to $260-$340 to pay all the levels above that sellers level but nobody would pay that for what is in reality a $50 dress. But if they could manufacture that dress for say $1.06 everyone could be paid.
At some point though the person or persons at the very very top of these companies disappear. Vanish into the Ethernet. Along with millions and millions of dollars.

eh i got another piece of mail saying this case will be under review for 60 days from when they first redeemed my credit .

until they hear anything back it'll be in due proccess of just a matter of redeemed credit.

im not too worried about it since this was a FAKE deal.
