What's the point in posting anon?

The avatars stay the same each time, leading to people knowing the identity of the person. It kind of defeats the purpose!

Itโ€™s also much more effective when there are numerous users and more activity in posts being made.

The biggest benefit of it is that if there are multiple comments on a post, or the OP comments on their post, you can tell who youโ€™re talking to in the sense of maintaining a conversation.

Anons are for the first.
However, might I suggest a second "alter ego" account?

Along time ago at the old Help, I would occasionally go anon. The problem I had durring heated discussions, I would blow my cover by forgetting to reply as anon๐Ÿ˜ฃ

I like the ability to post anonymously, it can work. And most of the time people really don't know who you are, you just think they do. Unless of course you forget to hit the "anon" button like Al... I've done that a time or two myself. And even if I did post anon someone like whatsherface hates me would out me because the mods can see everything.

So yeah the trick is to get another email and post under that and if someone thinks they know who you are just tell them they are wrong. pffftt!!!

I'm a bit torn as what to say but, for this case, it's fake.
I'm not saying there isn't cloaking technology - there is AND it's already been used in covert warfare. This means the technology is a bit older than this video.
