I have been on this site for a long time!

I have been banned quite few times by moderators who just didn't like me from the get go. Now that I am back here it doesn't feel the same and whenever I come here I seem to be by myself with only a couple of other members online. Is it worth it to stick around??

Things were different then. Right now, this website is under personal possession by Rockstar and he seems like an excellent young man.
I think the mods you're speaking of have a tighter leash - you're not going to be banned just because one (or more) simply don't like you. I know I'm not liked by all persons high or low and that's okay.
I just know how I'm going to be.
And as far as this website goes, it's still new. The news of it is still spreading around the world, so, the fire hasn't gone out.
I'd hang out (or at least peek in from time to time).

I have an honest take on it. I believe that help dot com was great in the past because of the time frame it was in. It was great and had rhythm and momentum that just grew every day. Like the Beatles.. let it be. If you will. Once the momentum reached a climax the energy scattered to other venues. It served a purpose and now we are looking to relive that magic. Its nostalgia now. They say myself included that if the Beatles played their magic in 2018 they would barely be noticed. An energy in motion tends to stay in motion. An energy at rest tends to stay at rest. Law of inertia.
For me personally its a fond memory from my past. We all grew and we all changed and moved on. Im still glad help is back . I do know it was the beatles .

The name of the old domain--help.com--was the very best. It was intuitive. MANY people got there by simply thinking, "What if I just typed in help.com?" And--voila!--they were there!

This site is still in the embryonic stage. I would say it will take 5 years to approach the activity of the old help.com.

I wish we could buy the old domain name back . . . hey!

I miss the old help too and I know this one will never be able to be that. I think it is THAT NAME! It was the catalyst that brought me there, it was something that I think people do every day. Type Help into their computer.

Maybe it was that we were all in the right place at the right time for it, kind of like the Beatles but I also feel it could be bigger and better. If only we could find a way to direct traffic here. This place really has a head start because there are so many people already here that want to talk to people and try to help them. We're an answer without a question.

the site is only young again. for how long this one has been up and running i would say we are doing amazingly well. its clearly an active site from all the posts which is good for when people come browsing through :)
