life sucks.

Really? Wait til it blows, then you're in for a real treat.

i didn't ask to be here.

No one ever asked to be here.

i don't want to be here.

No, but since you are...

i'm just spending my whole life wishing i'd hurry up and die.

Devote some of your life to making it (or someone else's life) better.

i really wish i had never been born

But, since you're here, can you tell me a word that rhymes with Florida?

I'm so sorry to both poster and Jebus. I hope that you find something not only worth living for, but will also get a spark back.

There are so many things to see and do . . . see and do some of them!

Throw the junk thoughts out of your mind!

Realize you may be suffering from depression--it will lead to such thoughts as you are having. Really.

See my post from Field and Stream!

Please see it!

I’m not going to call you selfish because I have been where you are and I know how dark and terrifying that tunnel can be.
What I do suggest is that you get some proper professional help.
There are people here who have lost loved ones and valuable members from this site,no doubt we would do anything to get them back.
Life can change but only you can make that happen.
Do you have family/friends you can talk to?

Nobody asked to be here, and sure. Life sucks. But it’s also the greatest thing to ever come into existence.

Sometimes life will get you down and you just have to push through it. No other options than to keep on keeping on and just be. There is no reason to do anything different.

One day you’ll find something to really thrive for and you’ll be glad you’re alive. I promise. 😊

Help me with:

Hello everyone!

I'm not selfish. I've been on my own giving my all for the past decade and that's not even what I'm complaining about. If you knew me you would never call me selfish. Maybe not extraordinarily generous. But how generous you want poor people to feel? lol

But I would love to hear how other people's actions toward me can create an inherent selfishness in myself for sure though! Please entertain me and tell me why it's my fault? LOL

Just so you know I've sought plenty of professional help in the past and here I am today still bitching. So anything new you can think of that hasn't been tried a million times or suggested by million other people?

I appreciate your trying to help for sure!

I used to fall back on that too. "it's so special though."

I'm a number. Lots before me. Lots after me. And in the grand scheme of things an unnoticeable number too. Whether I stayed or died honestly doesn't matter.

I can't afford it. It hasn't mattered if I make $10 an hour or $21 an hour. This world is rigged to ****fuck me into working and never doing anything worth a ****shit. All I do is work, go home and worry about how my full time job doesn't pay bills and go to sleep if i can. Then I get up and do it all over again. I live every day in frustration and wishing I'd hurry up and die.

I have things "worth living for"

friends. family. i love my cat.

but what you end up being forced to do to make it work so you can enjoy those things can't be so offset and out of balance that it doesn't make it worth it to be here for those things in the first place!

Most people use that old cliche “if you try to commit suicide your being selfish”
Sorry if I inadvertently offended you it was not my intention.

What is it you want to change?
You talk about being poor.. How can you make a difference if you had the money?
If you had the power to be anyone or anything in this world what would it be?

You have to stop believing that you cannot change things. SURE, the upper 1% wants to keep you on the rails they have laid down and never let you get ahead, but you can jump the track and do your own thing! You might have to work a job for a while, but you can start your own business or even run for political office! Junk thoughts tell us we cannot change anything and have to remain in a rut, and, YES, there are people who want to keep you in that rut so they can exploit you. But you CAN escape and control your own destiny. Do what you can and pray about the rest.

And be determined that the SOBs are not going to win!

I have battled negativity, abuse, self-hatred and suicidal thoughts my whole life. I still have a problem telling people my date of birth, as I consider it the most cursed day.. However, after over 40 years of battling, I am finally getting the suicidal thoughts under control (with help from up there).

For me it is my daughter who has been the biggest motivation to go on. And having an unsatisfying job which does not pay is very depressing, no wonder you lack motivation. But that could be changed! Is there anything you would like to do? Any hobbies which could be changed to a job? Would you be happy to be sefl-employed, to be on youtube etc? There are so many possibilities.. Hope you will find hope and the will to continue, and hope things will improve and you will feel more positive. All the best xx
