Hey, you. If you come back to read this, just know I was thinking of you. I hope things are okay for you and that you’re well.

I like fractal constellation. Let’s go with that.

What made you stop with the maths/engineering route? It’s a shame school costs so much. It’s the same here too, it’s so expensive to study anything that leads to a good career. Medicine would pay well and I can see it being rewarding and giving you opportunities to do new things, so that would be good.

I’ve seen shows where they make a house on a trailer or similar. They are awesome and I would totally live in one. If I could go back 10 years I would get my own. I’ve realised how I’ve followed/been pushed down the traditional route and wish I had done things like live in a trailer house more when I had the chance. I kinda feel I don’t have the chance now with children bits such a responsibility to look after them. I can totally see you living somewhere like that though and enjoying making it your own.

Hate it for them that they're gonna miss out on you. Does that make sense? Sounds good to me.

Aren't you a Mormon? Isn't there some law that you have to get married and make more Mormons? I mean those guys used to get 20 or 30 wives apiece soooo... the math doesn't work. Every Mormon girl HAS to get married.

Hey I appreciate it. Sounded like me to me. Glad you like what I do, I like what I do too... ha.
What is this loner for life crap? When your biological time clock starts ringing your mothering and nesting instincts will take over and you'll wind up with the nearest bum. Plan it out better, the guy that started this website rocko says he actually lives where you live. You should give him a shout! Wink wink emoji if I wasn't a computer illiterate.

Whaaaaaaat that is so crazy. A couple of people from my somewhat distant past are just driving around near me all the time haha

Yeah I've worked at Thumbtack for 3.5 years and I love it! I've never been happier with a job. It was important to get out of Customer Support eventually though, most of the people who leave just can't get out of that department and you can only manage to do it for so long.

Smart phones were only for rich people before my mission haha so maybe help worked on it but I wouldn't have known!

Haha well the problem with the first time my husband and I tried dating was a combo of him being stuck on his ex, me liking someone else and just wanting to date him for fun/to transition back to real life after the mission, and neither of us knowing who we were anymore(missions are confusing that way - you come home and you're not a missionary anymore but you're also not who everyone around you remembers from before your mission). And because we didn't know ourselves, we couldn't get to know each other, which just doesn't lead to good things. Also you have to be REALLY committed for long distance to work and we clearly didn't have that the first time. We figured it out eventually though!

Have you ever considered being an ear doctor whatever they're called? I'm sure thats just as much expensive schooling but it seems like not as many people go for it and it may be less crowded. Any way you go, I admire your dedication haha the schooling alone is intimidating to me! 9 years after I started it, I'm finally/only 78% done with my associate's degree! Lol

My husband is an EMT and he's considered going into nursing when he's ready to move on. He'd love working in an E.R. if he could. Seems like there are enough different avenues a nurse can take to switch things up, and it's flexible enough that it'd be good for a family so I support the idea. (Right now he works 24 hours at a time which is fine for now but might be hard with kids)

After working in a truly terrible hormone clinic, my main requirements for jobs are 1. It needs to be something you like or at the very least something that doesn't fill you with dread/despair/anger and 2. There needs to be room for growth. Right now my husband is happy at his job but there's not much room for growth so that's where the nursing comes in I guess!

I'm waiting to hear back about a position I interviewed for on Thursday and I'm a bucket of nerves about it. I've worked hard since January to try and get this position and I think I might be crushed if I don't get it 😣 but I'm up against really strong other candidates.

Here's hoping I've done enough and if not, that I'll survive!

Hello there!

It’s so good to see your blue rose again. How is life for you? Tell me what you’re up to.

I have a fiancée and we are hoping to get married soon. We have two children now, a girl (2 and a half) and a boy (four months). We recently moved a long way from where we used to live for a new job. Things will be better for us in time because of that. For now we are enjoying being together even though we don’t have much.

It’s so odd seeing this place again isn’t it? Things are so different now and seeing this place bought back memories of how life was then.

Yeah kinda sorta. Morgan is 7 years old, she's full of herself. Taking some kind of dance lessons now, being a grandfather is way better than being a father. All the good times and none of the bad. Nice to have you back. What have you been up to? Making grandkids for your dad yet? :)

Haha I know, it's funny remembering being on the computer all the time and regularly checking Help! If I couldn't access it on my phone I probably would've showed up once then forgotten to ever come back haha

My husband and I met as missionaries, actually! We served in the same ward so we had dinner together every night and hung out a lot when we had free time. We developed a thing back then but when we both got home 6 months later we tried and miserably failed at a relationship! 3 years of being friends later, he developed feelings again and convinced me to give him another shot. It's been great ever since!

He lived in Virginia so we dated long distance 6 months then he moved out here because we were pretty sure we wanted to get married. We did in January of 2017, exactly a year after he told me he had feelings for me ❤

I work for Thumbtack in Draper. It's great fun, I've been there for a few years now and I love it. What is it you do?

That's a bummer about the guy and about feeling stuck. Do you have any particular career path you're on? I've recently been taking on more responsibility at work any it has definitely helped me to feel like I'm contributing and accomplishing something

I love rainy days, too! Having lived in Arizona for so long, there's really no weather I dislike. I really enjoy the fact that the weather changes all the time here!

Oh my goodness, I can't even believe this! literally a week before I got the email about Help being back, I was telling my husband about how much it sucked that I had all these friends out there that I knew for years that I no longer had any way to contact! I'm seriously so happy to see everyone again. It's been long enough that I'm sure we're all pretty different, but it's great to reconnect!

Life has been simply amazing. I actually live in Utah, now! A job brought me here, and it's been so good to me for the last three and a half years. And of course I did get married and he's seriously the best. The exact right brand of weird for me lol ^_^

How is your life? Last you were really active on here, I remember you were struggling with your family and I think you were dating a guy from Brazil but there was some heartache there? This is all very old of course, but I'd love to hear how life went since then.

Hello, cait. Welcome back.

I don't remember as much as I should - more or less limited to post of legends and perchance a few shouts.
Grateful to have left some impression, nevertheless.
Mrs iguhasta (now married) wished to catch up with you as well, though she's mia presently. Mayhap you could pester rocco to mail her.

I hope that alongside the fortune life has imparted upon you, you've felt blithesome to an extent.

Haha! You should have said hi! She would have been stoked to see you.

She's good though! She's at a new job and trying to save money to get a place of her own. She seems to be liking it.

How have you been?
