Now that the largest mid term election is over - what's next?

What's next is that the Donald will continue his plan to make America great again. Now that the Dumbocrats have control of the House of Representatives they will stonewall this plan at every turn. Notice that the government is now shut down because the left wing refuses to fund a wall on our southern border. Expect more of the same for another two years... same as it always was.

And that "hero" Andrew Jackson was in at least 5 duels and some people say close to 100. He shot and killed a man in one after his gun didn't fire, which was a breech of etiquette, according to dueling experts. They were both to take one shot and Jackson was hit in the chest but his gun didn't fire. So he re-cocked it and killed the man. The duel was because the other man had accused him of cheating in a horse race bet.

He was also a General that massacred thousands of native American Indians firsthand. Then the year after he became president he signed the Indian Removal Act which basically was an ethnic cleansing of America... good ole Tennessee boy he was. I live about 20 minutes from his farm which is a National Historic Landmark and tourist trap, errr I mean museum.

NFL Superbowl poll

My home town Indianapolis got their *****asses handed to them by Kansas City yesterday, and my son's favorite team Dallas is out too..... pfffft. The Rams and Chiefs both looked really good. I don't know who to cheer for now.

I'd love to see the Eagles win just for the controversy. They are playing a back up quarterback who is old and been around the league, because their starting quarterback is hurt. The crazy thing is that their starting QB was hurt last year too and the backup Nick Foles came in and beat everybody in the playoffs and was the MVP of the Superbowl. People thought he would get the starting job but no, he went back to sitting on the bench. Now he's got the chance to win two Superbowl's in a row as a backup. That's never happened. In fact everyone that has ever won two Superbowls is in the Hall of Fame and is a hero. What happens if this old man backup wins two in a row? Is he a Hall of Fame QB or just lucky? Plus he's making half as much money as all the other guys... he's gonna want at least $20,000,000 to play next year and he'll deserve it. It's a messed up situation, I love it.

Drew Brees QB for the Saints is old too and about to retire. He has one Superbowl win and I'd like to see him get another. He's a really nice guy that everyone loves, even soco...lol.

Patriots play the Chargers at noon today. I hate them both.. the Pats have been caught cheating a half dozen times and have won it all more than anyone lately. Maybe both of their quarterbacks will break their legs or something just to give me something to cheer about! ha

I raised two step children and three of my own. The crazy one is not mine, surprisingly.

How many days does he have to live? I'm not sure anyone knows the answer to that question. I did meet him at a bus stop yesterday to give him a check. He got kicked out of the half way house he was living at for smoking dope and needed more money... at least that was the story I got. His own mother won't answer the phone when he calls and told me I was an idiot when I left to go meet him. Just another day in paradise!

What she really needs is help with her mental health, which is a lot harder to get than pills. I swear that's half the problem with the world, when you are in a bad way and need comfort and people to talk to they fill you up with dope.

If she's suicidal she shouldn't be taking Benzo's, people who take them are at a much higher risk of suicide. First of all they're already depressed and then their inhibitions are lessened and they do things they wouldn't do if they were straight. Like commit suicide. I know two people that have done so when they were taking benzodiazapines like Xanax, Valium or Lorazepam. One was a family member and the other was one of my best friends.

It doesn't take much of an overdose with benzos to knock you out either, but it's pretty hard to kill yourself with them accidentally. Around here even if they let you fill your prescription without seeing the doctor again you still have to wait 30 days, so you won't just have 100 of them laying around.

I still don't think the best thing for her is some government intervention. Maybe a family intervention where they move in and stay with her and help her out emotionally. It sounds like you're too far away for that unless you just take a months vacation and hang out with her, at least a week. She needs a friend, but yeah with the life she's had I'm amazed she's doing as well as she is.

Yeah it used to be a tradition. I had three or four annual Superbowl polls on the old site, maybe more. Time to resurrect it seeing as how only half of these teams will be left come Monday morning. So who did you vote for Southern Comfort, New Orleans? Hope it's not that Patriots vote, that's the only team I don't like.
