I think the first thing needs to be to take responsibility or what has happened. I'm sure that you might not be all to blame. But you need to be true to yourself and take responsibility for what is your fault.

Now your at a low point in life, its an opportunity to reinvent yourself.

I agree aeolian, when I was running I was in the best place of my life! I do think its great there is less taboo about mental illness, but I think we are in danger of making it an excuse for behaviour.

The world has changed drastically in the last few years. Its harder and easier at the same time.

Its the same for me. I gave up. The last guy I was interested in said that he wasn't looking for a relationship, a few days later his facebook status changed to in a relationship. I think that broke me for a long time. I wasnt upset, but hurt that he lied. Its put me off relationships forever.

For me the pain and stress never outweighs the good times (i dont think i ever have had any with a guy) or the ***sex. I prefer being with my dogs now, they are awesome.

Why would someone unfriend you from one social media platform but not another?

Maybe they dont use the other accounts. You can always ask why he unfriended you. Sometimes its not about what you have done, but what they are feeling inside.

My motto is always 'if you cant find a job, create one!' Go self employed, then you can have whatever job you want and work at your own pace. Start with what you like and figure out how to make money with it.

And if all else fails. Blog! I'm sure theres plenty of people out there who can relate.
