i often wonder if ya let loose with no dicipline will the puppy turn into a selfish animal or if it must be trained till it reaches adulthood? not a pet expert here.. but i can tell how other peoples pet behave tho just dunno if they were trained or they are a reflection of the owner?

the fundamental rule with dogs, and any animals for that matter, is they do what works. Every interaction has one of 4 outcomes, positive reinforcement, negative reinforcement, positive punishment and negative punishment. All of these outcomes teach a dog and influence future behaviour.

If you let loose, the dog will make up its own rules based on its experiences. But theres no real way of saying what those rules would be, since there are so many factors, its really a nature vs nurture debate, but both are factors. Even the care of the mother while pregnant influences future behaviour.

Anyway, you can teach an old dog new tricks. But its VERY hard to begin socialisation later in life. Anything a dog experiences in the first few months of life is accepted, anything after that is met with caution.

I already have a rescue dog who was not socialised early in life and I'm still trying to fix that. But I think he will always be an anxious/fearful dog unfortunately. He was from excellent breeders so I would say its down to early life experiences in the previous home.

Sorry I rambled a bit there...

It really is. It's such a waste of time isn't it? That might be the worst part about it.

I think that theres so much pressure on people to not waste their time on this earth. Its like everything needs to happen asap. But its ok to have downtime.

I just remembered another person who helped me through it. Search GaryVee on youtube. He speaks so much sense and is really inspiring, its mostly business related but it does relate to persuing life too.

How do you pick a person?

I think you should keep it casual and let it happen, just chit chat, dont force things. TBH I probably wouldnt go hangout with someone I didnt know that well from work. Plus you have a boyfriend, so what are you hoping to get out of the relationship? maybe he feels uneasy about that.

how do i post photos here?

I hate BMI charts, they are not a true reflection of someone who has actual muscle. most rugby players could be classed as obese, but theyre all muscle. its total bs.

Suicidal or not...

I felt like that not too long ago. My biggest fear was surviving it and being 10x worse. If we had firearms in the UK I probably would have gone through with it.

One thing that helped me see a little light and positivity in the world was watching The Secret. Its not for everyone but every time I have tried it, its worked for me. I hope you can work through feeling like this. Its the worst thing in the world.

What has changed recently to make her behavior change?

I've got these plug in calming hormone things for my cats, to reduce territorial behavior. Do they make a rabbit calming spray?

also, there is something called pet remedy, it works on all mammals. the hormone based things wont work on all animals as the hormones are the same as animals mothers, so dog hormone scent will be different to cat hormone scent.

What do you all think about a woman dating a guy who is a little over 4 years younger than her?

My bro is 26, hes just moved in with his gf who is 31 in a few months. Theyre great together and no one even cares about their age.

I would love to but I'm not qualified, only in the love of reading!
