Suicidal or not...

There is a point in life I've realized there's nothing else going to happen in life but death. That is all there is to look forward to.

Why do you say that? What processes brought you to this conclusion?

I don't believe you truly think that. There must be some goals or deep rooted desires that you have, even small ones if so. One task to work towards may be all it takes to show you there is so much more to life.

I’ve come to that conclusion myself too. But you must have one unrealistic dream that you’ve wanted? Mine is to run away to a different state of country where no one knows me. If I ever get to that point where I’m ready to end it all, I will runaway first. If I fail at that at least I know I tried

I just read a book about suicide packs it’s more of a romcom (not sure if that’s your type of book) its called - my heart and other black holes.

Maybe try and life that fun aspect of your plan with a friend first. Find a fwb to let loose with and try and enjoy the next month and see how you feel then

Suicide sucks. Choose life. It's a lot more fun.

Death will come eventually. I do not worry about it, because I know it is not the end.

two scenarios for death.
either you die and that's it. nothing. nada. or you die and there's afterlife. if you choose to die, you'll either become nothing, or you'll go to hell for commiting suicide.
if you choose to live, there are many scenarios. some good, some bad, but they're all something. well, something is better than nothing and, for sure, better than hell.
I'd say live to see where life takes you. if you want, you can do anything crazy that comes to your mind (except killing or torturing!). That is something. you must have something that you always wanted to do with your life but never did. or better, you could write a list of the things you always wanted and start doing them. if you're not satisfied with your life after doing those, then fine. but give yourself a chance. a chance to find joy in life. because if you find this, then, you'll wish you could live forever.
if you think that there's nothing to keep you going, you might be depressed. depression is a chemical imbalance of the brain. please seek medical advice before you make a choice that you can't undo.

As I look around, in this life, I see nothing but life going on. Death doesn't end life - it transcends life. Too bad you are focusing only on the cosmetics of something that is miniscule compared to life itself.

Well yea, death will be the end result for everyone, but there's stuff that happens before death.

There may be stuff that happens after it

There's also the option that there's nothing at all after death, or my personal favourite that this life and countless other ones you're having are all practices for the real thing.

I like the running away thing too. Or just move somewhere far away, where everything is different. I think when someone is suicidal they need completely different surroundings. Whenever I feel like life is too much to handle and contemplate suicide I think about moving too... just get away from it all but still be alive.

You should never lay down and let life walk over you. If you feel that way then this is the time you should fight back at your hardest and tell life if it wants you gone then it must work for it

i'm not going to kill myself i'm too chicken and i don't believe in an afterlife. i'd much rather see the things i don't like in my life go away than me.

still, i get tired of wishing i could just die or kill/destroy whatever is bothering me.

all i'm saying is, is that i realize there's nothing to look forward to but more of the same bullshit.

and yes that may make me feel suicidal sometimes, i guess, if wishing you could die is being suicidal. but i always know i'm not going to kill myself.

so that being a fact. help me feel better bout having nothing to look forward to. if i could figure out how to be happier while i'm in this shitty joke of a *******fucking life, maybe it'll just make it easier to tolerate being here.

I for one do not believe that you have felt this way since the day you were born. There was an event that happened in your life that corroded your outlook. Have you ever been in counseling? That is where I would start. You seem to hold a grudge against the entire world because you want us to cut apart your pancakes and sausage like your mom used to do. Well buck up butter-cup. You are an adult, whether you like it or not. You want the pity party to stop? Get your head out of your own ego and do something for others. I'm serious. Volunteer at a children's hospital. Share a little kindness to others that are a whole less fortunate than you. Then go home and thank God for his grace and kindness. Very soon your life will seem less shitty. But you have to put in the time to change your mindset.

You must build a life worth suffering for.. And those happy moments will be worth it. It is easier to be a demolitionist. Sometimes you do have to destroy everything to rebuild.. but you can always rebuild, so long as you are alive.

Whoah....Let me just say I disagree with you completely. I've had years of counseling(so already you would have started me wrong lol) and I don't want ****shit from you. I work harder than you I bet and I bet I do a better job. I know you were trying to help but you totally just insulted me and what's worse, with something that's totally wrong.

I have spent time in nursing homes volunteering and have spent most of my life trying to help others with their dumb ***ass problems. You see, that's a lot of my problem. I helped a lot of stupid people and got nothing out of it but the realization that most of you are just *******fucking stupid. So don't tell me to go help someone. You'll be lucky I don't help you to the grave for being a selfish ****fuck that can't figure it out for your stupid self.(metaphorically speaking)

Everybody wants me to be fair and honest and helpful but you all want to be *******fucking stupid assholes that want to continue to act like *******fucking 2 year olds and not take anything I want seriously but want ****shit from me all the time? Don't try to call me a baby for feeling this way when other people are the *******fucking cause. If I'm selfish now it's only because of how others have reacted when I've been nothing but up-front and honest.

Now I realize I could just be an asshole too. Perhaps if I weren't an asshole I would have received some kind of warm fuzzy feeling for all the help I gave and bullshit I let you *****fucks put me through("you" generally not "you" personally"). But I didn't. So you're wrong. Everyone walking around saying helping others will help you isn't true for everyone. It's wrong. It in fact may strike a nerve that has been causing the problem and will in fact make it worse to continue the same pattern of crazy ****shit!

(and another secret you didn't know about me, I don't believe in a god but in fact tend to believe those that do are nuts)

that is very rude and disrespectful. If you don’t have anything nice or helpful to say don’t say anything.

I felt like that not too long ago. My biggest fear was surviving it and being 10x worse. If we had firearms in the UK I probably would have gone through with it.

One thing that helped me see a little light and positivity in the world was watching The Secret. Its not for everyone but every time I have tried it, its worked for me. I hope you can work through feeling like this. Its the worst thing in the world.

I think that theres so much pressure on people to not waste their time on this earth. Its like everything needs to happen asap. But its ok to have downtime.

I just remembered another person who helped me through it. Search GaryVee on youtube. He speaks so much sense and is really inspiring, its mostly business related but it does relate to persuing life too.

When I first saw the title of the post I was kinda hoping the post was going to be "here I come."

Anyway, life is such that you can't make that kind of prediction. I've felt that way lots of times in my life, and have been proven wrong time and time again.
