My anxiety problems are driving everyone in my life crazy.

Going to the gym to vent your stress might put you in better physical shape but it still does not solve the source of what is causing your anxiety.
Personally, I'm usually against medications but there is a very rare time and condition for their use. In this case, you must make it a goal to determine what you believe the problem to be. The meds will give you the runway and "peace of mind" necessary to think things through. You may even want to contemplate a solution.
Then afterward, go back off the meds. There is, in life, a natural form of stress that no one can (or should) escape. But, when it becomes too overwhelming, we all need to get some help.
Lots of love dear girl.

My significant other refuses to see a doctor.

You mentioned that she isn't sick. I would further assume that she isn't "hiding" a problem.
Generally, women are more apt to see a doctor for check-up's than men, but I don't find it surprising that she doesn't want to go.
I think it's a control issue and has very little to do with fears or phobias.
Let's look at it this way -
1. If I feel there is something wrong with me, I'll go to the doctor when it comes up. I know my own body and will call the shot when necessary.
2. I don't want to drive - I can manage it in the direst of moments but prefer when it comes to the general things.
3. I'm willing to go see a psych but prefer not to. Even though the exact reason for why I will (or will not do) certain things is unclear to me, the gut feeling I get has seldom let me down when it comes to particular matters.

Control issues.

I think it's perfectly fine.
I never liked a driver that was too up-tight.
It's only in this day and age where we question things to death. In times long past it wasn't even an issue.

Why am i existing for no reason

It all boils down to one question....

What do you want to do?
Just because you haven't found your purpose does not mean that it does not exist.

What would you like to do?
