There seems to be an epidemic of cases of bipolar in the usa and uk.

Sherlock. Do you think inoculations play a part in bipolar or other mental health issues

I'm not against vaccines in general--though I have said for over a decade that flu shots are totally worthless.

There is a great potential for vaccines to go bad. In fact, in areas where the polio vaccine has been administered, there has been an uptick in cases among the nonvaccinated population, as the vaccinated people "poop out" viruses that get into the wild.

Some vaccines have the potential to introduce viruses into a vaccinated person, and some vaccines allegedly have mercury components in them.

Before I went to Africa, I got additional inoculations for yellow fever and meningitis. These diseases are killers. I'd take my chances with a vaccine any day over one of those killer diseases!

Cold remedies

Chicken noodle soup, also known as "Jewish penicillin," really does help to de-congest a person with a cold. Staying warm is also a necessity. You won't get over a cold quickly if you can't stay warm.

Now, if you have a cold, do NOT drink ANYTHING that is cold. No cold drinks! Everything you drink should be warm. Cold germs LOVE the cold--but they hate heat. Even soaking in a warm tub of water will help to shorten your cold. A sauna is even better.

Are pit bulls safe to have as a domestic dog?

I don't see any reason to take a chance on a pit bull. Why would you want to be one of those people who, after their pit bull mauls a friend or kills a child, says, "Oh, my goodness! He was such a good dog! He never did anything like this before!"

They are genetically hardwired to be aggressive. And a pit bull may, indeed, be "sweet" until that defining moment when something inexplicably triggers that genetic programming, and the pit bull launches into a murderous attack.

There are many dog breeds out there known for their gentle disposition, such as Golden Retrievers. They make great companions. Pit bulls are mostly associated with crack houses and ghettos.

One of my neighbors back in the States has two pit bulls. They got out one day, and another neighbor was ready to shoot them. They've been kept in a screened-in porch since then. I wouldn't shoot them just for getting out--but if they did anything threatening, I'd take them down in a heartbeat. I'm not the kind of person who sees someone being attacked, then runs into the house to call 911--I believe in direct action whenever lives are threatened!

OK, it didn't turn out like you had hoped.

But all is not lost!

I deduce that many of our "mental illness" problems stem from the added chemicals in our food. Look at those packages of "processed foods" and note the list of chemicals they contain!

The other influence is the media--paid efforts to shape our norms and values.

Combined--a recipe for mental disaster.

If only one is giving, and one is only taking . . . not much of a relationship there.

Why are people so hung up on looks?

I wish more women would appreciate me for my intellect over my looks.
