I just logged onto help.com and saw a message about this new site. Just wish we had the old domain name back. The present owner probably has no idea how many people the change affected!

I've been having character asasinations for trying to help the mentally ill on Facebook.

I have known a number of people in the mental health field. They got out because they found out that 99% of their patients only wanted to talk about their problems, but not solve them.

And ultimately, the person with problems has to work out that set of problems.

People can help--but ultimately the responsibility is on their shoulders.

I didn't realize how important rest days were...

It took me a good week to recover from Africa this last time. There was the jet lag, of course, but I had also been eating like a Buddhist monk. Could not eat meat due to it being prepared in unsanitary conditions. Lost about 10 pounds! And then there's the very tiring airport routine and being stuffed into a tiny seat for up to 9 hours at a time. And Charles de Gaulle airport is a zoo!

This is gonna be an unusual one, but appropriate for this site.

Investigators charge a good bit even to research "public" records.

And they'd much rather do that than sit in a car for 12 hours, waiting for someone to appear!
