Please can someone help me with this?

Im wanting to get a small cd player. A very basic one without bluetooth ect. It just needs a remote and to not have loads of lights on the remote. I need to be able to be put a bit of blueattack over any light on it. I can put a towel over a cd player screen although id prefer it didnt have a light up screen. Id like it to be capable of going very quiet. Im not interested in sound quality or loud volume. Id prefer it had small speakers. I just want it to be small and functional. There is limited space in my bedroom and i get overwhelmed when there is too much in my room.

I get anxiety sometimes and id like to TRY to have some relaxation type cds / music on.

For 1 to try and distract me from stressors and stressful thoughts.
For 2 to try and rehabilitate with sound.
For 3 to try and have some sort of enjoyment

Its too difficult for me to go browsing right now. I need to minimise being online but any suggestions or links to.. would be really helpful. It would be great to know the decibel range the volume goes if this info is available. The lowest volume on my hifi used to be too loud for me at times.

I don't know...but I would think it's going to be hard to find a CD player as specialized as what you are talking about, since CDs aren't where sound media is going.

Maybe an ipod and using some super cool headphones would be better?

I think there may be another solution. An Amazon Echo Dot. No lights, except when you talk to it. All commands are by voice, including volume. "Alexa, volume 1." is super-low and soft. I think you might prefer volume 2 or 3. Then all you need is to enable a music service such as Pandora or Sirius XM and away you go!

Thank you for everyone’s advice. My mind isn’t with it at the moment. I’m so overwhelmed by everything in my life. I’ll take a better look at responses when life has calmed down for me

Why? This is the best solution for the illness you have and the music you seek. Finding calming and soothing music on CDs is going to be difficult unless you already own them.

Your extreme paranoia is no reason for your anxiety. It has no screen. You talk in a normal tone of voice. Screaming from across the room does absolutely no good. It has no feelings. It listens so it can learn your voice; nothing more. It has very very low artificial intelligence.
Let me ask, where do you plan on acquiring the Cds you want to listen to? How much a year will you spend on them?

I dont appreciate you calling me paranoid soco.

And when i say i cant reliably talk i mean it very literally.

I find you offensive. I am too unwell for any arguement or debate so lets just leave it there.

Thank you for trying to help but I already said no to your suggestion. u come across as being pushy. No means no.
