Yep! Tagging users was the replacement for the invite tool we used to have.

Haha! New Helpbot could use an upgrade. Don’t tell him I said this- but his programming is pretty simple. He’s going to need lots of configuration and tweaking.

i like it better how it used to be with the old invite tool because of my poor memory

ok i just tried clicking the @ and ... it does give the option of all the users, so its not hard with my memory right now, but when there are more users I think I might find it more difficult to scroll and search for the ones i want and i might forget peoples names when i need to type them in. ... seeing pictures of avatars helps to prompt me to recognise who people are faster.

i think when we can tag people in this way, it sort of defeats the object of having "friends", as tagging was a feature we used to only be able to use with our friends.

but I also like it this way because it makes the options more diverse and it crosses any aquantance/friend barrier and makes everything more open for everyone to take part. which sort of makes it feel more like an open family?

if i wanted to tag alot of people id find the new method hard. id find the old tick boxes easier the way it used to be.
