I once had this motorcycle - it was a Honda Rebel 350 street bike.
Anyway, there was a specific summer where I was vehicle poor and the only thing I had was this motorcycle to get back and forth to work on. I would ride this bike 100 miles round trip every day until I got the money to fix my truck.
The bike had a nice seat - meant to fit a fata$$ such as mine but the front on the bike was light and I had to beard down on the handle bars while going around high-speed curves.
Day in and day out, every day. And then it happened. The lower back aches started to creep in and got worse during the nights.
Ever hear a grown man cry in the middle of the night?
Went to the doctor. Apparently, the vibration from riding the bike had loosened several kidney stones and they began to travel.
I was lucky (or so I was told) that the stones were small enough for me to pass them through.
I didn't know much about such things, but I got enough of the drift to know that meant I was gonna shoot'em outta my pi$$hole.
Yeah. It hurts.

I got a scan today, it's definitely a stone. 6 mm. Oddly enough don't have any pain at this moment. But I can kinda feel the stone there, not sure if that is psychosomatic or what.

Phew ain't gonna fun when the pain really starts to kick in. they already got me a urologist appointment for today to assess my options.

Who here plays video games?

Skyrim is pretty intense like that, at least it was for me. I can kind of take it or leave it at this point. It is fun to revisit, its such a one of a kind game.

Oh and you can definitely play ark as a single player btw

My steam library has Ark: Survival Evolved and Ark: Survival of the Fittest. do you have one of those? I think I opened one a couple of years ago and couldn't figure out how to get started.

im a closet chef...

I cant speak to coriander...but cilantro and parsley have always tasted a lot different to me. Though i was raised on a lot of parsley, so my palete may be more attuned to variation.

The thing is, unless you like the actual taste of the herb itself, the whole point of using it is for that very subtle note that you are talking about..if your taste buds don't think there's much of a difference, maybe try omitting the herb all together? Save the money!

So I watched all the terminator movies after terminator 2 and...

I think in my heart Terminator 2 will always be the last Terminator Film...too much timey wimey BS in the other ones for my brain to compute it as being the same series.

There hasn't been a good John Connor since Edward Furlong either. But I think he has other issues on his plate that might make it hard for him to return to any big deal hollywood movie.

so there is this girl.

I guess one thing you said kind of worries me, and that's that you're asking her friends' names...oddly specific thing to mention, and I find it hard to think of situations where that would naturally come on in conversation...unless you met said friend and just wanted to remember what the name was.

Is the hiking really a date? A lot of girls aren't trying to sweat a lot in front of a guy who they want to seem attractive to. Maybe she just likes hanging out but doesn't like you LIKE THAT.

I'm all about retro-games.

Duke Nuk'em Total Meltdown.
Duke Nuk'em Time To Kill.
Vigilante 8 (the first one only)
Twisted Metal
Croc 1 & 2
Need For Speed
Grand Turismo

(I'll add more as I remember)

total meltdown was an incredible game but I tried replaying it a few years ago, and I just feel like fps games have come a long way since then...though not in terms of quantity of game. So many dang levels. Need for Speed and twisted metal are classics.

I still replay Super Mario Bros 3 and the original MarioKart game for SNES every once in a while. Those games are amazing, the modern MarioKart doesn't hold a candle to the original.
