Is there a free website that can help me track a couple of my friends with whom I lost contact?

Unfortunately, that’s a VERY broad request.

“Track” how? Facebook is a great one to keep in touch with people and have an online way to always have tabs on them.
If they aren’t on Facebook, it gets a little harder. But Whitepages are available online, and most people have had an online presence at some point or another that you can find.

Not much of a single site that can do that though, as you’d have to search across a few different sites to try to uncover relevant information.

What's the point in posting anon?

I never kept up with the anon avatars and who's who. Writing styles and character form were the give-aways for me.
Don't feel bad, all of us have been caught at one time or other.😂

CATCH ME IF YOU CAN

I can name the last 4 people who were online up to 28 mins ago, so I know you are 1 of 4... and a smart ***ass, so either J or Soco, I double Evan or Sherlock

Haha! Again, works better when there are a few more people around. 😛

I have been dating this woman for a little over a year now, and it started like the perfect match.

I think you definitely did the right thing. Couples go through issues, but the issues should never be sacrificing your potential. A relationship should compliment your life style, not destroy it. Careers aren’t aligning, lifestyles (***sex, kids, etc) aren’t aligning, and it sounds like you were drifting apart regardless. It can be heartbreaking, but I think it’s better for you both to go your separate ways...

At least for now. The future holds endless possibilities though! Maybe one day your paths will cross again and you can see if there are any sparks there.

Anons are for the first.
However, might I suggest a second "alter ego" account?

Along time ago at the old Help, I would occasionally go anon. The problem I had durring heated discussions, I would blow my cover by forgetting to reply as anon😣

That’s solved now as you can edit the anonymity of replies! 😄

It’s also much more effective when there are numerous users and more activity in posts being made.

The biggest benefit of it is that if there are multiple comments on a post, or the OP comments on their post, you can tell who you’re talking to in the sense of maintaining a conversation.

Why are people so hung up on looks?

Not to be sexist- but I've seen a LOT more women be judgmental against people that aren't as attractive than men. Especially when it comes to dating/relationships.

I was venting! Sorry

No worries! 😄 Maybe I'm just around the wrong type of people. 😉

I personally prefer women without makeup. 😄

Not sure why people are so focused on looks, really.

In an honest and blunt way, it's probably because they want something "pleasant" to look at for the rest of their lives in the case of marriage? Or because "attractive" features are attractive because we recognize them as suitable for our offspring and deep down we just listen to our instincts?

Some people definitely take it way too far though. I'd take ugly and pleasant to be around over gorgeous, but downright mean/unpleasant any day.

Is there a preview button for posts?

The edit button is fine for me. I would prefer a way to quote the post though. We can currently only quote the replies, unless you copy and paste and edit the tags.
Also, why am I allowed to edit every post? Only the poster should be allowed to do this, right?

Long time/trusted users are able to publically edit posts. It’s so that when there are no posts with bad grammar, you can help by cleaning it up for better understanding.
