Housemate trouble

just cuz you got a kid his age he's repulsive about it?

i dont get it?

I don't know, I guess he had a crush on me, and when he found out I was much older, he turned hostile.. He seems to be a bad loser?

The point is, how do I protect myself from him? I don't want to live in fear from him. :(

And thanks for the concern, @Lano, the house is large, yes.

Hi Guys , long time no post!

Hi Helper,

Hope you are having a great time this Christmas.

Apart of rain, and more rain, and 70mph winds, all good here in mid west Wales, UK. No covid got us..

Hoping for more work soon.

well i would agree the atmosphere can act like lens to our feeble human eye. thus enlarging it to our amazement no?

But why only on this one occassion? Anyway, I probably will never know the answer.. but this little mystery is something I can live with, so no worry, thanks, NacthoMan.

cant argue with science ;)

Well, science has no explanation at all why the moon affects humans.. their mental or physical health.

So, wanna solve that one, NacthoMan! ;)

..I personally would love to solve my own mystery with what I presume was the moon.

It was summer of 1997, and I was at a bus stop around 5.30am, saw an enormous round cosmic object in the sky. I presumed it must have been the moon setting, but it was at least 50 times the size it is normally visible with a naked eye. There was nobody else at the bus stop, and I did not have any photographic equipment on me, and by the time the bus arrived, it had already set down behind hills.

I had never seen the moon that large neither prior to that, nor after. Was it the moon? Did I have a daydream, or worse some hallucination?

Recently Byron Bay Lighthouse moon rise video (don't know how to post youtube video link) has been posted on social networking media. It is apparently real, however taken with a special camera lens that magnifies the moon. However, the moon that I saw that morning of 1997 was visible in that size with a naked eye. Is it possible?

Study how Earth's gravity influence the moon in maintaining its rotation in sync, leaving one side forever facing the Earth:

Bullets are pointed like footballs instead of being round because that shape is more aerodynamic. Oh okay that's what anon said... in fact he did an excellent job of answering the question.

Ah, it makes sense.. Here in UK footballs are round, lol.
