My goodness, that is awful! :((

Yup, & right now she's applying for MAID because of her severe & unrelenting pain. The medical system (& the government in general) failed her here in Canada, as it does many who are disabled.

I am really sorry to learn that @BigWilly!! I do hope that she will get the right support.

I still wear a mask at work. I work in a primary school. Not only to protect from covid, but any other bugs. I work one-to-one with kids with all sorts of additional needs who have zero awareness of hygiene/safety etc.

And it seems that since I had covid in February 22 I became really prone to getting sore throats. (Sore throat was the only symptom that I had when I had covid, but it was the worse sore throat ever. I lost my voice completely, unable to make any noise whatsoever for several days).

Since September when the school started here in the UK, I had a sore throat for 2.5 months non-stop. Then it stopped for 10 days, and I got it again for a while, then I caught some different bug where I would have a temperature. I never had a temperature as an adult in the past 27 years!

So, not sure how covid related it is, but I had never been this ill before covid started.

I dunno if its me

I have a problem driving at night as well, and dusk and dawn are even worse. There are all sorts of car bulbs these days, and in my area there are lots of hills, so when it is a different angle, the car's headlights are also more dazzling. I also live in a rural area, so most roads don't have street lights.

I've just got a new glasses with a coating that should help while driving, but I have not driven enough to tell the difference yet. I'd done some research before buying my new glasses, but apparently there isn't anything 100% approved that would work to reduce the glare. You can read reviews for some anti-glare glasses online to see what people say. And if you find a solution, please report back! ;)

I make a similar dish, @Lano. I just add chopped canned tomatoes and some spices (dry veg seasoning, corriander powder, and cumin powder), veg stock cube, and eat it with basmati rice.

Ah, I've just made it today. I don't add corriander and cumin powder, that goes into my lentil curry. This bean curry takes red paprika powder! Bon apetit :)

I don't really understand poetry, @Yorick, but I do read your poems! Thanks for posting.

I am just stuck in exhausting and depressing cycle of chronic procrastination.

Ah, procrastination..

If it is not just a 'plain lazy' (like my daughter), my theory is that there is something behind the procrastination. Is there some psychological, or traumatic issue that needs attention?

If you think that there is nothing like that, perhaps start with very small steps. Depending what you procrastinate (is it housework, school work, paper work etc etc), just take the tiniest steps, and reward yourself for it (again depends what would work for you; you can have a chart with star sticker to see what progress you are making, one star for a little effort, two start for a bigger etc., or you can give yourself some treat, an ice cream, chocolate etc., or buy yourself something more expensive).

If this does not help, is there anybody who can help you with what you are procrastinating with? Is a friend able to clean with you, and then you can have a drink/cake together after. Is there someone you can pay to do the work, like a cleaner?

I'm not sure if this helps. I hate doing paper work, I always avoid that until it really has to be done. Hope you will find the motivation to tackle the procrastination.
