Will 2017 be remembered for the empowered women coming out of the shadows of abuse?

To be honest I almost feel it's not okay for men not to act this way.. does that make sense? When I was in school if you weren't grabbing girls and talking about them sexually other guys looked at you like you were wired wrong. Yeah it's come a long way from knocking girls over the head and dragging them back to your cave but not really. Kind of hurts to say that.

But to be honest most of these guys that are doing what they are doing in Washington and Hollywood were raised by another generation, the traditional family values crowd. I guess I really don't have the answer, but I still think things are improving and compared to a lot of other places America is great. Nothing's perfect and I'm sorry for all the people that have been molested. It's definitely not your fault.

Maybe it's the lack of masculine role models in families these days. My dad taught me how to treat women by example. Here's a pretty good blurb on the subject.

I had given up on this site.

There were a lot of people who didn't like me on the old site too. The ban hammer was constantly hitting me in the face (something about telling people how easy it is to actually kill yourself), and yet like a Phoenix here we are rising out of the ashes to start anew. I fully expect to piss people off again, but you know if you have strong opinions that just kind of happens.

I like the whole living for others concept. I think I've been doing it a long time as well, but I had a lot of kids that needed me. Now not so much. Still I'm waaaay too well aware of what happens when a family member commits suicide. It tears most people up in a way that is horrific. Trust me there is a whole lot of grief that comes with the death of a truly loved one.

Does anyone know of any pet shelters that accepts donations of unused prescription drugs?

Phenobarbital? Send all unused drugs to Ralph's Lake House and home for wayward women. We are currently accepting monetary donations as well...

So in summation you can be a stay at home mom and not be lazy, but if you only have one child and all you do is hang out at the house people are probably going to think you are. In fact you probably will be... Jerry Jerry Jerry!!! lol


Society kind of expects women to work now, and so people that don't know you will assume you are lazy if you stay at home. Who cares what they think? You can be a stay at home mom and home school your children, remodel your house and spend hours a day gardening and doing charity work. It's up to you whether you are lazy or not, and people who do know you will be able to judge accordingly. Stay at home and have a whole lot going on, nobody will think you're lazy. Be my mom... she was a superhero ha ha ha.

And my mom was a stay at home mom too but then again almost all women were in the 50's. She was definitely not lazy, and no one in their right mind would think she was. She sang in the church choir, belonged to all these different women's groups, and did lunch with every other doctor and lawyer's wife in town. I kind of thought her job was to keep the family name at the top of our small town society's food chain, I think she thought so too. She did it very well.

My wife had 5 children in 6 years. Her job staying at home was a lot harder than mine for a very long time. We had two in diapers at once and I couldn't afford the disposable kind for two kids so we had to revert back to cloth diapers... yeah try that for a while.

She doesn't do much now but there are 7 grandkids and so it's still not all hanging out on the beach drinking Pina Coladas.
