I've been scared of someone for years and because of the illness I had feel bad for even considering contacting them.

If you feel scared, can you explain to us what it is you are afraid of? Is it just the awkward tension or are afraid he will hurt you physically?

Based on reading the other post (thanks Yeti for updating the link), it sounds like he is not a danger to you. I would suggest that you don't go out of your way to avoid him but don't go out of your way to communicate with him either. Try not to read anything into eye-contact or a passing glance. People make brief eye contact sometimes and it doesn't necessarily mean anything.

I meant that I'm leaning against PHP so I'm glad to hear that you don't recommend it. It makes the decision easy. :)

I think I'll try Heroku since I want to move in the direction of learning to use Digital Ocean and seems like Heroku is a step in that direction. And I will try Rails first and see how it goes.

Thanks for all of the info!

I am currently using MediaTemple shared hosting: https://mediatemple.net/webhosting/shared/

I am guessing it is more user-friendly, but not as powerful as the other hosts? There is a built-in control panel so it is easy to set up domains and email addresses. I think it supports PHP files automatically. I installed WordPress a while ago and that was using PHP and a database - I can't remember which.

I'm leaning against using PHP because part of my goal is to learn a newer technology and switch to more of a Git workflow which seems to be what most are doing now.

Ok, I think I will try Heroku free plan first and see how it goes. At this point it would be cool if I can just get something to work, so not concerned about scaling yet. I still need to decide on a framework. Do you know if it makes sense to use ReactJS with Rails?

tried to listen to the current alt.
Business help.

If you want to keep a separation of the concerns, then your creative business could sell them to your dog training business. Not through etsy of course, but just on paper. It would be a sale for your creative store and an expense for your dog business. Then, when your dog business sells one, it is income for the dog business.

Actually, that is probably overkill and then you might have to pay sales tax, etc, etc.

Probably best to do as Padre suggests. Keep it simple.

Gratefulness is helpful, so I am grateful for it.

Grateful for some cooler weather this week. Here in Minnesota we had record-setting heat last week - it got over 100. A month before that we had an April blizzard. Today it is 70 and sunny. Perfect.

Would you be hurt by this?

Oh wait, the show already happened? I would be upset about that but it still sounds like it could have been miscommunication rather than him intentionally excluding you (which would be a dick move).
