You're screwed and it's time to go - ASAP. She has subscribed to a view that is mentally lazy. Relationships need work because they don't just magically adjust themselves. No. They like the benefit you bring to the table but at the same time can't wait to "someday" meet a person they feel passionate about. So, no matter what YOU bring to the table and the quality, it will never be good enough.

It's like this....we all need money and we're willing to trade our labor for a wage. In other words, we not only need to be used but we want to be used - the only eternal question is: for how much?
The cool thing about capitalism is that you can strike a deal to mow a lawn for $10 then turn around and pay someone $5 to actually mow it....
It is the way of things and someone will bend and be happy about it.
As far as who the credit goes to....well....who cares, you've got $5. You'd be surprised what will motivate people when you give them hollow credit, powerless titles and a genuine pat on the back for an underpaid job done well.

I'm a strong believer in Peace Accords. Sure, let's all just "get along," BUT let's forge out the meaning of it through signed (or acknowleged) documentation.
Nations, and people in general, often think they're above formality - as if the expression of their very personality (or being) is above reproach, when it was that very trait that caused so much damage to begin with.
"Getting along," is a process. Some people get it, others do not.
