:) How are you all?

There are three guys that will never be better than the Hero (generally speaking):
1. Mothers' second husband.
2. The married neighbor, (in this case the man in the movie).
3. The boyfriend of Daddy's Little Girl.

"Mattel presents, the Roosters' pen! !RRRRrrrrRRRR!"

It boils down to injury of personal pride regarding the three closest women a man will ever come to know -
Mother
Wife
Daughter

Answer truthfully (yes or no) to the following question: Will the next word you say be 'no'?

Maybe....
The priority is to Answer Truthfully.
By default, "Yes," or "No," only, replies become secondary to the priority.

If you have a job I promise the CEO of your company is not putting nearly the effort you are into running his/her company for him/her. You would think the harder of a worker you are, and the smarter you are, the more likely you are to be in charge. It doesn't work that way. We're just stupid enough to do it for them and get paid less. Just an example.

I went to school to operate heavy equipment - and at the end of the day the instructor (who was also the owner of the school), had the students wash off the equipment AND service it.
Some students needed showers more than others for that reason alone, I being one. I washed and washed the dozer I operated until I was filthy!
One day the State Inspector came to the school - more exactly, to inspect the tools of the business.
The students were doing their thing, gathered in their own little group while the Inspector and Instructor were reviewing every piece of equipment.
I could remember the Inspector making a comment to the Instructor, "You maintain this equipment very well."
"Yes. Yes, I do ," replied the instructor. "I take pride in what I do."

At first, I was mad, But at that same moment, it all dawned on me and I saw things for how they really were
.....I had to give it to the Instructor.....he was right. HE maintained his equipment very well.

That IS the way of things.

A guy I went out with just reached out and asked me to lunch.

It happened to me a while ago. So, I just asked him but he wasn't man enough to give me a clear answer. So, I said to myself that I'll give him another chance to see where this is going. well, it didn't go anywhere and ended up hurt anyway!

I hoped for and gave the best of myself and when it didn't work, I was hurt, but at least I was sure I couldn't have done anything more.

When I asked to see his intentions, I said something like "out of curiosity... bla bla bla just to see if we're on the same page". I didn't put any pressure and also made light of it. I didn't get a clear answer but I gave a clear message.

My deepest regards for both of you. It's his loss, really. Sometimes, there's little you can do but to let certian things play out - give out every chance you can until it just becomes impossible....
And then you move on - hopefully, to someone who appreciates you and looks forward to being with you.

Anyone familiar with Indian culture?

Sounds like an issue that @Araz could explain but she's been away for a while and I don't blame her.
Maybe someone could get a hold of her?

how to be human

In (the) Greek, 'monk' literally means "to be alone." There are monks living in mountains, inside cells, and they often don't see people for days. (And sometimes weeks). They pray alone or do the job alone and then pray again, like nothing in mind. They don't have close bonds with people in general, and most no longer have family ties. And the first synthetic (for) the word monastery, also means alone.
