I don't understand the question. Clarification is required prior to responding.

Are you asking if it exists? Are you asking if you should take it? Are you asking for general information about it? Are you asking if anyone has experience in taking it?
What do you actually want to know?

I am prone to panic attacks and Iā€™m on a generic form of Prozac which helps me. Xanax makes me sleepy.

I just go into a nearby retirement home and kick the rear ends of anyone using a walker.
To some, it's the closest thing they've had to a ******orgasm in decades....

I've heard Xanax works really well but it can be addicting. My boyfriend thinks if I start taking it I'll go crazy. I don't know that much about the specific drugs but I think it would help me a lot. Was it hard to get a prescription?

I'm no expert in pharmaceuticals, but from what I've picked up over the years, it seems your mileage may vary with regard to the efficacy of such substances. Might be better to describe the symptoms honestly to a psychiatrist for a more precise assessment. Personal belief comes into play, both yours and theirs (was asked directly whether I wish to be prescribed anything); notwithstanding, there's no magic pill - chemical alterations must be accompanied by psychological treatment.
I know it's not much, but if you wish to talk, I'm willing to listen.

Help me with:

I think itā€™s important to get both therapy and medication. They should go hand in hand. It wasnā€™t hard for me to get a prescription, I made an appointment for a psychiatrist when I was feeling suicidal and she prescribed it to me along with therapy.

I wish I could recommend my psychiatrist to everyone, she was really good at explaining to me whether or not meds were addictive. Different meds have different effects on people. You should ask a doctor! Iā€™m sure your bf has your best interests at heart but unless heā€™s a medical professional... ĀÆ_(惄)_/ĀÆ
