I need a math person.

Just did a math quiz on facebook. What is 5 plus 2 times 10. My answer was 25. I was told wrong answer. No brackets in equation. Help

That’s correct. It’s likely they are hiding some information, if it’s an image that’s displaying it.

No. They did the equation from left to right. Thats not how i was taught. She argued 70. I didnt think so. Thanks

I eat all my vegetables, is that what you mean? I've never thought of myself as a vegan. I don't condone those that are either. To each their own.

always multiply first .... so read it as 2 times 10 plus 5 ..... ---- 25

The last I was taught is that you solve by multiplying first, then going by the order of operations you can add. So, unless that's changed, you should be correct! I would have a few doubts about your teachers credibility if I were you...
