that's probly not going to happen i dont have benefits and i dont have the money to fork over to a doc myself.

i drink coffee and have thought about stopping because i know it's a diuretic. but even lots of coffee should wear off after 6 or 8 hours right?

besides age maybe being why, i can't think of another reason.

It's not related to age. This is not a normal thing for people in their thirties. It could be as simple as an infection, or could be diabetes or a hormone imbalance. Definitely you should see a doctor, or at least an urgent care clinic.

lol it's not an infection or diabetes. i don't think it's a hormone issue either. maybe the original post made it sound worse than it is. as long as i'm near a bathroom i'm not having to pee my pants or the bed or anything like that haha.

i just wake up two or more times a night to go pee. and by the time i get back to bed i'm wide awake. so i might get 2 or 3 hours sleep if i'm lucky before i have to get up to pee and be wide awake by the time i get back to bed.

I had the exact same issue a few years ago. I was starting to wonder if I had bladder cancer or diabetes. Finally I saw a doctor and it was a urinary tract infection. He put me on Cipro or Amoxicillin (I can't remember which) for two weeks. After a few days everything was back to normal.

Sounds like cancer. That happened to my aunt and she died of the cancer that caused that because she waited too long to see a doctor, it was too advanced by the time she started chemotherapy.

You could keep Pot beside bed instead of diaper. But doctors sounds more reasonable. Try changing room temperature, dont drink water 2-3 hrs before sleeping.

I had to start getting up to pee every night when I turned 50 and was telling my sister about it and she was amazed.. She was like just now? Heck that happened to me 10 years ago and now I get up twice at night to pee. I'm not sure why but it's definitely and old age thing. The fact that I drink 6-8 beers every night doesn't help either I'm sure.

When the body starts acting in an abnormal way, it is a sign that something of issue is going on inside the body. Even if you yourself are qualified as a doctor, I would dissuade you from making a self diagnoses. Best to deal with a small issue now than a more fatal and high risk ailment later.

SEE A DOCTOR.

The only times I tinkled have been:
1. After the birth of my 4th baby for about 3 months. (My Granny told me her 4th baby did her bladder in... I used to laugh, now I believe it)

2. When I've been so sick that I've coughed violently enough to give myself a headache

Pretty sure you haven't recently had a baby. Have you been sick?

If you do have a bladder infection, antibios are the way to go, but I have heard of people treating (or maybe preventing?) Them with cranberry juice daily

Keep a night jug next to your bed... It helps save the jog to the bathroom and you can get to sleep asap.
When you wake up for the day, just empty and rinse.
Good luck.

I definitely would see a doctor. I myself am incontinent and use aids while I sleep, but mine is due to a tear in the muscles from my younger years - I've been incontinent since I was in my late teens, but did not get properly seen to about it until I was in my mid-20's.

It could be something neurological, or physical - I would definitely speak to your doctor and/or a specialist if needed.
