I think just about everybody that was there has been moved over here.

Sounds like theyโ€™re just trying to do a money grab. So not much we can do. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Is โ€œtheyโ€ an actual entity, or is it Ryan? Do we know?

I thought CNET originally gave it to you, @Padre_J_Roulston?

The data was given to the people who bought the domain... who in turn started helptogo

Gotcha. For some reason I always thought that was you.

So whatโ€™s the price for the data?

There is little use with the old logs too in my opinion. Even though we look the same, the code below the surface is totally different. How many years would it take to convert it so it could be loaded into our current set up without it causing numerous crashes or slow response time. Nobody wants that.

Actually, data is generally pretty agnostic. Iโ€™d estimate it would take a day of playing with the format to get it to the point where we could import it to this site.

But- like others have said, chances are having that data hosted on here isnโ€™t super important. If we can get the data, storing it in a safe place is never a bad thing. (Then again, Iโ€™m kind of a hoarder...) So letโ€™s grab it if we can, but as far as the domain and helptogo forum code... ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Sometimes you just have to tell people how much you appreciate them for being around and putting up with you.

Never brought flowers and chocolates, but I definitely do my best to let people around me know that I love having them in my life. ๐Ÿ˜Š

I am having trouble getting used to Help and how it works.

You can respond to users by either clicking the "quote" button, or tagging them by typing an @ symbol followed by their name, like so: @Granny

You can also send emoji's in replies, by typing a colon, then the type of emoji you want. It will pull up a little box that you can use to select the emoji you want. ๐Ÿ˜„

There isn't currently functionality to "react" to a reply like "liking" on Facebook, although that's on the possible future feature list. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Generally, replies are much more meaningful when they're actually typed out as a response rather than just a click though. ๐Ÿ˜œ
