Given I'm not celebrating Christmas this year.

I'm gonna fly to see my love, but fly back on Christmas day because my family wants me around. I am scared it'll break my heart to leave. I'm already wondering about the cost of missing a flight home...two weeks of work at least? Maybe I could miraculously convince him to come back with me for a few days? I'm so so excited.

Would you rather be intelligent and live a lifetime being poor or be not that academic and be wealthy for life?

I think having intelligence better equips you to figure out what makes you happy and make it happen than having wealth does, so I guess I'd pick that. :)

Anime recommendations, Go!

The only anime I've ever watched was One Punch Man. Liked that one a lot, he's just so adorable. I see you saw that one already though.

If you didn't like the first episode, you probably won't like the rest. Some of the episodes are breathtaking and interesting, some are depressing and boring. The premise is cool and mysterious, but so far they're all pretty slow.

Ooh I've always wanted to make jerky. One time I was backpacking hungry and this girl gave me a bunch of spicy homemade jerky, which I'd never had before. It's the bomb, made my whole week.

I think personal responsibility will fix almost every problem, save everybody that takes it, and help the entire planet by extension, so the conspiracy theory would be that society is enabling everyone's victim complexes and subtly reinforcing the problems.

You are so valuable and worthwhile. Everybody makes mistakes, and that's okay. That's how people learn you know! Consider yourself one mistake wiser. You deserve to take a well-deserved break from the consequences of learning a helpful lesson, but you don't have to be immobilized (been there) if you can't afford to be now. Take good care of yourself because you deserve your unconditional love, no matter how mad anyone feels like getting. Also, a little communication goes a long way and may help heal a lot in a relationship if that's something important to you related to the upset. You may be surprised that talking can heal if the other person is willing to listen.
