Please don't start that...

This site has had more activity on it, then any of the other renditions of the site, other than the original... and even then it has about the same activity as the original when it changed.

Things will get better with time.

The original site was also somewhat more restrictive regarding content, which was a pain in the ***ass.

When did the original Help.com start anyway? It was really active when I found it around 2002 or so. Maybe I didn't find it until 2005, heck I don't know.

When did the original Help.com start anyway? It was really active when I found it around 2002 or so. Maybe I didn't find it until 2005, heck I don't know.

I’m pretty sure it started early 90’s- though it got a steady stream of updates before it looked anything like how we know it to be. I believe it even started as a forum/helpdesk on one of the big sites and gradually transitioned more. I can’t remember where I found those pages though.

It was about 2004/5 that I found the site.
I was sat in a library on Shetland island using a public computer, trying desperately to find help for my then partner, and in frustration at repetitively drawing blanks, typed HELPPPPP into the search bar
And that was the start of my addiction to help.

Ummmm 2007? Or 2006? I can’t remember. I searched help and have been on/off since then.

As far as I know they don't have any mods on this time zone.

The original site wasn't too bad for spam, but they went.to town on the other one
