i feel the pain with Tamiflu, when swine flu was a thing they gave it to us at school and i had an allergic reaction which manifested basically in a chest infection which lasted about 6months...straight through exam season, summer and headed towards christmas with uncontrollable coughing fits all the time. i am now a master at suppressing coughing at inconvenient times though so i got something out of it....

hope youre on the mend now though!

They had no business giving you tamiflu with the flu you already had.
Sorry to hear what happened to you. Recover well.

Dayumm!!!

Will you be looking for restitution - I'd at least try.

Tragic. Necrotic pneumonia is about as ghastly a phrase as imaginable...
Sounds like a permanent condition - have you looked into the social security front?

OMG, Dani. I'm so sorry. My friend had necrotic pneumonia a few years ago and had to have part of her lung cut out. It affects her to this day.

I hope you heal well and maybe you should check into a suit against the docs (??)

I do know that suing a doc is tough, though. You basically need other docs to testify against the one doc, and that doesn't happen very often as they all have the same malpractice insurance.

Hope you heal quickly and that being young helps your healing to be more thorough.
